Woke up later than I had planned.......I did set the alarm but I guess I turned it off and kept on sleeping. Feeling almost back to normal again, after being sick (and working) for over one week. It was raining today and I had plans to go to the Natural History Museum.



There is an exhibition there right now called Creatures Of Light and I find the deep sea life creatures very fascinating. Especially the crazy looking fish!





The Natural History Museum is a very interesting place. I walked around for about two hours and after that I felt exhausted and needed some Starbucks. I do not think small children belong in museums, my opinion ok. They are probably not going to remember or understand much and why pay an entry fee for a toddler that will get bored and cranky after 20 minutes. Take them to the playground instead and everybody will be happier. I did learn about the Semai people and they are my new favorite people on this planet, I think they have it figured out, we could all learn a lot from them. Curious? Read more about the Semai here

Then I also found these two fighting bull moose from my neck of the woods. I have them come through my yard.





Then I spent the whole day shopping and walking around. Came home by 9 pm tired after being out for 8 hours. I took a bath and used one of those bath bombs from Lush. I don't recommend the bath bomb, it fizzes out fast, doesn't create any lather or bubbles and doesn't smell that strong. Or maybe I need to try a different bath bomb next time? I even put a honey mask on my face. Once in a while I do make an effort to take care of my skin. I need another facial at Anastasia's. Now I am in bed, looking forward to a nice sleep. Meeting Bella tomorrow for coffee! Fun! 🙂

I am soooooo tired, it's 6 am and it took forever to get home from work tonight, had to wait a long time for both trains. I met a Swedish girl at work tonight! That was fun! We were talking in Swedish, her name is Bella and she is from Göteborg but lives in NY now. This is actually the first time I have met another girl from Sweden dancing and it was her first time too. I am sure there are some out there, I just haven't met them........
I am going to meet another Bella on Monday. A girl that reads my blog, she is here working too.
I have to sleep now, getting up early tomorrow, going to a museum. How was work? Don't even ask........lol.

Yeeeeeay, change of scenery! I worked at New York Dolls tonight and I like it much better than the awful Private Eyes. I did ok, nothing fantastic but ok. Private Eyes was not even ok any of the four nights I was tortured there. New York Dolls is located down in the financial district.
It's a small club, kind of. It got crowded with too many girls (of course) and guys. You have to pay $ 100 to work and tip out $ 20 to the dj and about $ 10 to the house mom, same as Private Eyes. I had to buy a "Christmas themed" dress to wear for the evening. My long dress is purple and does not look Christmasy, neither does my short black one so I got a short silver sparkly one, cute. But it cost $ 80 and it's not like I need to waste any money on dresses for work now after making basically nothing at Private Eyes and missing out on work because I was sick. Anyways!
I think I am going to stick with this club until I leave next week. Another good thing is that this club is closer to where I live and right next to the subway station, so I don't have to be walking anywhere far at 4 30 am. That is the last thing I want to do when I get off work, take a long walk through the city, no thanks. I am going to sleep now, I am tired.

What do you mean I can't work in this club? But I am NUMBER ONE in my village!!! Bilo breaks out of the cage to get me every time he sees me!

Spent the day out and about around town today, just me and my latte, strolling around shopping and being a tourist......taking pictures.
I kind of want a pair of boots from Aldo, funny thing is that they sell for $ 160 in the store and you can get them online for $ 98! So, getting them in the store is a total ripoff unless you need to wear them right away.......cute or no? Do I need? I think yes......! Maybe Santa can bring me them?



What I really want Santa to bring me are the leather pants (L-RIMMON) I am in love with at Diesel, my fave store btw. Has been forever. The pants are so sexy! I NEED! I doubt they are cheaper online though. I have been sooooooo nice this year, I think Santa should pay attention to me!



There are lots of people out and about. Especially around this place, Times Square.



I don't think I would like to be here at New Years to watch the famous ball drop. That doesn't seem like fun. Wait for a ball to drop together with a thick crowd of people in the cold......ummmmmm no. But then, I love being in large crowds of people at raves on New Years, so to each their own.
I was hoping Keoki would be in town, he lives in New York, Brooklyn actually and I am staying in Brooklyn. It would be fun to see him dj plus I haven't seen him in a while. But he told me he is spending the winter in LA.......so another time, another place.

Saw two guys with their pants sagging so low you could see their whole butt cheeks (in underwear) sticking out. That is DEFINITELY a look that is so WAY past due retirement. People say UGGS should retire.......whatever, at least UGGS are functional and comfortable and can look cute if paired with the right outfit.
This just looks so ridiculous and totally lame. Is it even comfortable, I don't think so. Pull your pants up already!



Took the F train home........



There are lots of homeless sleeping on the subway at night I noticed. Maybe because it is warmer and they can be left alone pretty much?
Like this person. He or she had a bad toe. I felt bad. I've given a little bit of money to people that said they were hungry so far.





Speaking of hungry.......I can't wait for breakfast! I think I am going to have lentil soup tomorrow, yum!

I saw a girl the other night at work with butt implants. She was a petite girl and her butt looked really nice underneath her dress, like a little bubble but when the dress came off.......NOT SO MUCH! When she was on stage I couldn't help but looking at her butt, not because it looked good but because it looked soooooo weird.
Like the shape and it appeared uneven and lumpy. I have seen a few butt implants over the years and to me it doesn't look great once the jeans or the dress or whatever comes off. I don't know about butt implants, it seems like a very invasive surgery and you sit on your ass a lot so I am thinking it must feel strange or uncomfortable? And why would anybody get a butt implant? Do you do it for yourself because you really wish to have a bigger butt or a rounder butt or do you do it to look more appealing to men? I thought of that girl at work because when I logged in today this article popped up about some other woman and her butt implant. I don't think it's worth it personally. You have to think down the line when you are 60 and schlep around two old implants in your behind......

Anyhow, me and my butt are leaving to go and eat now. I just blew out a bunch of green snot through my nose and coughed up some green hard mucous so I am good to go!
