Yet another dog fighting ring has recently been broken up in Texas this time. More than 160 dogs were used for fighting and this operation gathered many spectators.
"A lot of people in Texas still believe that dog fighting is entertainment," Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lisa Block said. "We are here to tell you it is not entertainment. It is a crime."
The ring spanned five counties and involved dog fights with as many as 100 spectators at a time who bet on the contests, officials said.
Entertainment???? Tatiana is seriously disgusted! Burned dog remains were found at the premises. Many of the surviving dogs will be euthanized pretty much right away and the rest will end up in a shelter and will have a hard time getting adopted. This is so sad! One of the arrested was a teacher. A few years in jail is not enough as a punishment for something like this. This is totally disgusting, inhumane, gross.
The people involved should have their genitals tazed until they are not functioning anymore.
These dogs were used and abused severely. No animal should be treated this way.
No animal should be used as some kind of a sick entertainment for disturbed people.
If some people in Texas still believe this is a form of entertainment Tatiana feels truly sorry for Texas. Backward imbeciles!
It is proven that many individuals that take pleasure in mistreating animals also have sociopath tendencies and might hurt a human down the line. Individuals like this should be where they belong, in jail for life.
When are people going to understand that this is wrong? If there are people out there that want to see a fight, let them put willing people to fight in a ring. Not animals!
Remember that disgusting so called human Michael Vick that made headlines recently for dog fighting? He had dogs that didn't perform well in fights electrocuted, hanged and drowned. What kind of a person does that? Would you like to even be associated with someone like that?
Tatiana wouldn't even waste her spit to spit in their faces. She wishes that the law would be rewritten for crimes like this. If you willingly and knowingly inflict physical pain on another person or an animal you should get a very long mandatory jail sentence and suffer physical pain, preferably to the crotch.
If YOU that is reading this, thinks that animal abuse is ok, please STOP reading Tatiana's blog. She wants nothing to do with subhumans.

The other day Tatiana watched a show on tv that followed a 17 year old and his Dad as they went raccoon hunting, just for the fun of it. All they wanted to do was to kill the raccoon, so they could satisfy their need for fun and something to do. How about a game of chess instead? They went out late at night with their dog, the dog eventually chased a raccoon up a tree. The raccoon was so scared, it was screaming for it's life, while the kid and his Dad shook the tree and made the raccoon fall down so they could shoot it. T.O.T.A.L.L.Y D.I.S.G.U.S.T.I.N.G OK?
Or the people that go on "exotic trips" to Africa so they can shoot a zebra, a lion, an elephant or some other animal, and then display the dead animal, as a "trophy" in their living room. What is up with that?
Don't animals have the same right as you or me to exist? Humans are the ones that decided that we are on top of the sk food chain. That doesn't make that the absolute truth though. We should be evolved enough to realize that hunting for fun is totally barbaric and wrong.
Tatiana is convinced that animals have feelings.
And no, Tatiana doesn't eat meat. She is not always a 100% vegetarian. She eats meat sometimes, rarely. But she does believe that if you are going to kill an animal, the animal should serve a purpose, meaning food. The purpose shouldn't be because killing is fun and it is my so called God given right to hunt and kill. Whatever! That is gross. And if an animal is killed, preferably it should be done as quick and painless and respectful as possible. Kosher is a good way.
This is Tatiana's opinion and it doesn't mean that she is right and you are wrong, if you happen to hunt and eat lots of meat. It's just an opinion.......Tatiana strongly supports animal rights. She detest all meaningless hunting and killing of anything.

22 of Michael Vicks pitbulls have been placed with Best Friends Animal Society in Utah, Tatiana happily learned today!!! They are called The Vicktory dogs. This is a NO KILL animal sanctuary and with time the pits will hopefully find loving homes. Tatiana would love to have one of these pits, a male companion for Chhaya but unfortunately the timing and the circumstances are not the best right now for taking in another dog.
She is positive that these BEAUTIFUL and SENSITIVE dogs will find homes with very good families that will treat them well and shower them with love.
Tatiana cried more than once over this situation with the pitbulls. How can anyone do this to an animal? Just being with Chhaya every day makes Tatiana totally convinced that Chhaya, and all other dogs, and all animals have a soul and they need to be treated with respect.
One day Tatiana dreams and hopes to be able to rescue and help animals in need.
And she also hopes that the general public in America will understand that the pitbull is a beautiful, loving dog. Yes, dogs sometimes bite, dogs of ALL breeds, there's usually a cause behind that, the dog will almost always show a warning first. It is the human that fails to understand the dogs language.
In a while Tatiana will curl up on the couch with a book and Chhaya curled up next to her. She is going to give Chhaya many kisses and tell her how special she is.

Tatiana can't believe that this Michael Vick person did these horrible acts of disgusting behavior to the dogs.
Tatiana's dog, Chhaya is a pitbull but that's not the issue here. How can a grown person do this? First he tried to say that he didn't have any knowledge of the acts of violence that were taking place at his house. Now he is admitting to being guilty of betting at the dogfights and even assisting in killing the dogs. The dogs would die by drowning, hanging, beating, shooting and electrocution. Is this really happening in America?
This is mind boggling. This guy had everything. Why did he need to engage is this kind of behavior? I guess you can take the thug out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the thug.
Tatiana thinks he should be done. He needs to go to jail for a long time. Really Tatiana thinks that he should hang somewhere so that she can go up to him and put her heels really hard into his small balls, she wants to stick a baseball bat covered in Habanero sauce all the way up his nasty ass. Tatiana wants Michael Vick to suffer.
There is no excuse to hurt animals or anyone else for that matter unless they ask for it, this guy is asking for it.
Yes, Tatiana is sooooooooo mad.
