Still Up

Three in the morning here......instead of going to bed I stayed up and watched movies.
First something called "White Irish Drinkers". I thought it was a good movie but so depressing throughout. Made me feel bad. It was painful to watch at some points.
Then I watched "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark". I liked it, I thought it was scary. From the very beginning it reminded me of one of my all time favorite movies - "Pan's Labyrinth". I LOVE that movie, it is so beautiful and so sad, I cry A LOT every time I watch it. And there is a monster in it that is so freakishly scary that it has etched a spot for itself in my mind. If you have not seen "Pan's Labyrinth" I think you should......!
So, I looked into who worked on "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" and indeed it is Guillermo Del Toro that did "Pan's Labyrinth", no wonder I thought the movies had the same kind of feeling about them.

Besides I am fascinated by and love faerie lore, there are good and bad faeries. Growing up in Sweden I saw many John Bauer prints and listened to and read many of his stories, all about princes and princesses, faeries and trolls. Beautiful, beautiful stuff. Makes me nostalgic.

So very beautiful!

Sunday in bed

Tatiana spent most of this nice Easter Sunday in bed. If you really have to know why......her stomach aches and it is that time of the month.
Well, things could always be worse.....right? It is going to be sleepy time soon again.
Here are some pics of Tatiana from last night. Because she knows that you are all curious to see what she had on........or didn't.....
;-)

This sums up last night perfectly!

Super Tired

I am sooooo tired, had the longest night at work. Toooorture!!! Nobody came in until 1 AM, NOBODY. So from 10 until 1, I was basically laying on the couch, bundled up in my blanket. So when very loud, young, drunk "children" started coming in around 1 looking to have some fun, I was anything but thrilled and just wanted to go home. And my prayers got answered a little after 4 AM when I took off my heels and finally slipped into something more comfortable. I was NOT in the mood to be entertaining after three hours of doing nothing. AND I definitely do not want to engage in any kind of interaction with people that are so drunk they can hardly walk. Oh, and loud and extremely annoying too. It was that kind of night, so I am elated to be home with my beautiful Chhaya.
Dogs truly are mans best friend. Chhaya behaves better than most individuals I encountered tonight.
So looking forward to sleeping!

In bed

Laying in bed with my Chhaya and the computer. About to call some friends in Sweden. I miss my friends.

Perfect!

Look what I found! Pills to boost my boob size, anti aging and fountain of youth pills. It's perfect! Now I can strip for many more decades! Without any surgeries.

Have you too noticed, (not sure if you these ads run outside Alaska) the Swedish commercials on tv? One is with a guy called Johan that promotes Gevalia coffee. HELLOOOOO! I mentioned Gevalia coffee in my blog and put a pic up at the beginning of January, check for yourself if you don't believe me. For some reason I suspect that Johan is NOT Swedish.....the way he pronounces Gevalia doesn't sound right to me. Next time they need to cast somebody Swedish for a commercial they should turn to the obvious choice, ME.
Then there is the commercial about going to Sweden to buy a Volvo. Do you know what Volvo means in Latin? I roll. Pretty genius, huh? Also a very poplular print on countless of t-shirts I have seen at raves.......VOLVO. Also genius.
But really, if you want to buy a Volvo in Sweden, you should hire me to go with you. I will be your personal guide and translator. I speak perfect Swedish. And I will negotiate on your behalf until the price is just right.
