Another Monday is here, a new week full of fun and opportunities......right!? 🙂
Tatiana just got up, laying around and stretching in bed as you can see.
The plans for the week are......work almost every night, Tatiana is leaving next week to go on vacation, so she needs to work so she can have shopping funds. Maaaaybe gym once or twice. Since the weather is so nice she is going running a few times too. And that is about it. Besides the regular everyday routines.......Chhaya, vanilla lattes, keep the house clean, tend to the new garden, shower & shave.......the normal stuff.

I spent the day doing errands and planting an indoor vegetable garden (that I will transfer to the outside later), tomatoes, radishes, salad, beans etc. Never planted veggies before, it will be interesting to see if I will get a crop. The vegetables in the grocery store are contaminated with pestisides and growth hormones, the organic stuff they offer is very expensive. Now I might have my own food in a few weeks. I wish I could plant pastries and ice cream this easy too.
Chhaya sat right by my side while I was planting the seeds, she always wants to do everything together with me, we are a team.

Tatiana went to the movies with Lexi this afternoon and they watched The Hunger Games . It was SOOOO good! And scary. You should see it too.
Now Tatiana is back at home, she is about to hop in the shower and get ready for work.

So yesterday I was going to spay Chhaya. She never had puppies because there are way too many dogs in need of a loving home, I don't think I should contribute to the problem. Also, the shelters around the country are full with pitbulls. SO SAD! I wanted to spay Chhaya because it might prevent her from getting certain cancers, not because of me wanting to breed her or not.
Anyways, that's why I got up at 8 AM yesterday, to take her to the vet. I was SO nervous, I don't want to hurt her in any way. And spaying a dog means they have to be put under anesthesia, scary!
Chhaya does not like going to the vet and she knew something was up because when the vet assistant tried to take Chhaya away from me, she REFUSED to go, I had to lead her to the kennel. I felt really sad.
Well, Chhaya didn't get spayed. I had them do her blood work yesterday too and there was something iffy about her pancreas. Nothing too alarming but Chhaya is on a low fat diet for a few weeks and then I am going to have her blood checked again.
I have been guilty of feeding her stuff that I probably shouldn't. Also Chhaya's vet told me to not give her any pork or sausage.
While Chhaya was at the vet I went and got her one of those collars dogs wear to prevent them from getting to any stitches.

Chhaya has a toy bin at home, full with chew toys, ropes and teddy bears. When she wants to play or nibble on a teddy she digs around in the bin until she finds what she is looking for.

I am laying in my comfy bed with cold feet and a warm Chhaya. It's 3 AM and I feel tired. I have to get up at 8 AM, so in five hours, to go and take care of something that I really don't want to deal with. Anyways......I am going to turn off the lights and go to sleep.

Tatiana thinks that taking dollar bills with your mouth is so outdated and tacky, not to mention gross. It just looks cheap somehow. And desperate.
Yea, maybe it was something strippers did back in the day but that practice should be retired, just like the neon colored g-string hiked up way too high on the hips. When Tatiana first started dancing, she did take a few dollars with her mouth, she will admit to this sin but it always felt weird and wrong somehow, so she stopped. She refuses to do this since a long time. Now when people sometimes sit by the stage and stuff a dollar in their mouth with an expectant look in their eyes, Tatiana either tells them that she does not take money with her mouth or ignores them. Sometimes, if a girl (not a coworker) sits there and does it while all her friends watch on, like it is some kind of a show, Tatiana doesn't want to make the girl feel bad. So she leans in close, lets her hair fall forward and snaps up the dollar with her fingers and smiles.
Tatiana worked with a person that every time she went on stage, would pick up a dollar with her mouth, position it onto the tip of her tounge and start flicking her tounge around with the dollar bill hanging there. Every time she went up, more than once each time, like a routine. It looked funny and trashy. Imagine all the places the dollar bill has been. Would you lick a bathroom floor? Yea, didn't think so.
It's kind of strange, this practice of thinking strippers should/would want to take dollars with their mouth. How did it start? Would you go into a bank and approach the teller with a bunch of bills stuffed in your mouth in order to make a deposit? Probably not, so refrain from doing it in strip clubs.
And don't get offended if the girl on stage has more sense than to take that dollar that's in your mouth or in your hand with her mouth.
