Then a trip to the post office with the remaining Christmas presents.....Santa's little helper came along. It is still January so it's almost kind of still Christmas if you really stretch it.....? No? I bet some folks have not put away the Christmas tree and the decorations yet. I sent half of the presents about two weeks ago and today it was finally time for the rest. Better late than never, right? The large box was shipped to Sweden. For the small sum of $104. For one package. My post office trips are usually kind of pricey. I wonder if I can work there once or twice a year just to make my Christmas gift sending money back? And if I can brag a bit about myself.....I love giving gifts and I give great gifts. Lucky you if you get a gift from me.
The me and Chhaya went to the park, or PARKIE as we call it. Today we did a SNIFFIE WALK, that means we take our time and Chhaya just explores and smells whatever she wants. Other times we do a WALKIE WALK, that is when she can sniff around a bit and go pee and stuff but we walk faster and it is more like an exercise thing.
We were matching. Chhaya was wearing her new pink harness, or HARNIE as I call it by KONG and I wore pink sneakers.
After the PARKIE we went to a friend's house for some more coffee and snacks. Today I tried the Starbucks instant vanilla latte, it was OK. I can drink caffeine right before bedtime, I don't get affected by it.

Nice picture of your breakfast at Illumilatte... it appears to be missing some protein ... I usually like to also have yogurt, an egg or cheese or something that will stick with me during the day so I am not starving at lunch time.
I can relate to your comments about Christmas and sending Christmas presents. Just last week I put the last of my Christmas decorations away... while I enjoyed having them in my home, it was an opportunity to do some deep cleaning and even some rearranging for a fresh look.... the only thing I have left that looks like Christmas is a large and beautiful potted Poinsettia.... it is still looking really nice so I did not get rid of it yet.
I have a very close friend living in Argentina and even though the 2 gifts that I sent were not in large or extremely heavy boxes, the cost to send them (a week after Christmas) was well over $100. I usually send them by Fed-Ex because they have great tracking and deliver faster than the Post Office. In the past when I sent things to Argentina via the Post Office it could take up to a month or more to get there and the tracking and holdup in Customs were unreliable and unpredictable.
How do you send your packages to Sweden?
I love all of your special language and terms that you use with Chhaya... "PARKIE, SNIFFIE WALK, WALKIE WALK, HARNIE" ... I am "surprised" that you have not taught Chhaya Swedish yet!!! (parkera? ga? motionera? sele?) I am more than certain that I didn't get the translations exactly correct relevant to your usage. I think that "harnie" is indeed a Swedish term???
I love your pink walking shoes and how they match Chhaya's harness. Very fashion conscious! I am sure that Chhaya's friends are very jealous.
I agree with you about your conclusion regarding Starbucks instant VIA coffees, but what was important is that your friend invited you to their home for coffee and a snack... a lot of fun conversation ensued I am sure. In your last picture I see that Chhaya was looking up at the table hoping that a cracker or treat would accidentally fall on the floor.
When I first the VIA coffees several years ago I had thought that they were fairly good but now I almost never use them.... in fact, I have several unopened boxes of VIA in my cupboards... I probably should send them to my friend in Argentina!!! LOL

I send all my packages with the US Post Office, I don't know if it takes longer than FedEx but it is cheaper. Since I spend between $200-300 on postage only around Christmas I want to keep the cost down if I can.
I speak English only to Chhaya. Harnie is not a word in Swedish that I am aware of......
I am sure my readers enjoy your comments, some of them probably read here just to see if there are any comments and then my response to the comments.
So keep your comments however long or short as you want.
OF COURSE I would comment on your blog if you start your own, that is just common blog etiquette!
Plus I am sure you would have a good blog but you should keep it somewhat anonymous because of your profession.
