At Kaladi

Welcome to Chaos !!

At Kaladi

I'm at Kaladi sipping on my latte and writing. I was supposed to meet Marlene for coffee but she didn't show up. WTF Marlene.....I am going to spank you when next time I see you!

I miss Vegas.....my life is so much more....full, I guess would be a good way to describe it there. Don't get me wrong, I live in a BEAUTIFUL house in Kenai, I'm surrounded by nature and forest but the weather sucks (most of the time) and this is the most boring and unfulfilling (for me) place I have ever spent a longer stretch of time in. That's how I feel.
Thank goodness I have a house in Vegas also and can escape to civilization when I have to. Here I am with a latte from Sambalatte in my hand, on my way to DO something.....instead of sitting at home (in Kenai) gaining ten lbs doing NOTHING. LOL. Well, "nothing" as in all the stuff that I do.....take care of stuff, like myself, Chhaya, work, my house, go camping, hiking occasionally and bla bla bla.....

So I have discovered a bunch of wonderful blogs about dancing on tumblr. Some are full of cool and beautiful pictures of fellow dancers and everything that attains to stripping and others have great writing and many words of wisdom. I'm addicted and I have to explore them some more! I like this.....it's from fuckyeahstrippershit.tumblr.com

One more thing. One of the girls that makes my coffee, actually one of my fave baristas asked me the other day if I'm a dancer. I said yes and we talked a bit about it. She told me she kind of wants to start dancing, She is a very beautiful young girl but too young.....she is only 19.
I personally think you should wait until you are at least 21-23 to start dancing (depending on personal maturity level) although some clubs have girls as young as 18 dancing. I think that's too young, those girls are still children in my opinion and many of them are too vulnerable to anything negative that might come their way. I'm going to go back to the coffee shop tomorrow and we are going to talk some more about it. She doesn't know about my blog, I might not tell her about it but I'm going to show her something that I think all dancers should read, full of great advice and wisdom and I agree with most of it! Good read for non dancers too, that want to understand a bit more about this line of work. Here are some examples......

"Being in a clear, sound mental state is required to make solid money as a stripper. Not just suggested. REQUIRED. I don’t want any of this “I’m desperate for money so I’m gonna strip!” bullshit. Clubs don’t need thirsty girls. They don’t need addicts. They don’t need girls with problems who have “no other options”. They need sane, responsible, intelligent women. If you are ruled out through these minimal qualifications, please, for the love of my sanity, turn back now."

"If they try to haggle your prices, tell them this shit isn’t a flea market it’s a strip club."

"Don’t do anything you aren’t comfortable doing!"

"If you can’t do it sober, you shouldn’t be doing it at all."

Whoever Stella is that wrote that.....I love her! Read the whole thing

Hi Tatiana, yes you know I'm still following you 🙂 Glad it looks like things are going well for you.
you're right whoever Stella is, that was a good read.
I just wanted to pop my head in and say hi.
  2. TATIANA Post author on :

Landis...! SO nice to see that you still read my stuff!
    🙂
For you who don't know....Landis worked as a dj in a large strip club for a long time, he has seen a lot and knows what he is talking about....
  3. Annette on :

I love how you bare your soul and how grounded you are. That is wonderful how you would take the time to be so honest with that girl..... 🙂
  4. TATIANA Post author on :

I want any girl who might be thinking about dancing/stripping to approach it in a good way and hopefully get something positive out of it - which is very possible.

Aw man, the cotton candy body spray has been my go to scent for years! I think I had heard once that girls use mens spray and deodorant because they don't want to send the dudes home smelling like stripper perfume. But I've heard guy friends talk of the way a strippers vagina smells, like it was some majestic unicorn. Who knows? I'm surpised she didn't mention the devil of all stripper things....GLITTER. ALthough it is pretty hilarious to see a dudes face sparkling like a pixie.
Being 18 and starting dancing in the type of environment it is now....eeek

Once when I was on stage an older man loudly exclaimed to his friends that if he ever would get reborn he hoped it would be as my VAGINE....yea the worship of VAGINE is crazy.....lol.
I don't know about spraying myself down with Old Spice....I'm going to continue bathing in Viva La Juicy.
And I agree....some clubs are not newbie friendly....I feel bad for some of the young girls that start out in some of the sleazier clubs not knowing any better.
  7. John from Chicago on :

You probably don’t remember me, but you definitely left an impression on me. You seemed really honest and down to earth to me which is refreshing. Most dancers are very guarded about their personal life. I found it interesting that you lived in Alaska. I remember you telling me about your sites Tatiana Supernova and Fargosisters.com , so I decided to check it out. Besides being beautiful, it turns out you pretty darn funny too. Keep it up. John

Well.....thank you for the nice words!
    🙂
hope I have gained another reader....at least when you are bored you can occasionally check on my adventures (or lack of thereof).
  9. Sunnie on :

John, most dancers are guarded about their personal lives.....you are right about that. It's nothing against you as an individual. I am sure you are a great guy and fun to get to know. The thing is that dancing is actually a job and most girls with any sense understand that they signed contracts with the clubs they work at going into detail about its against the rules to give certain personal information and can result in getting fired. Besides, I don't know what you do for a living John but I imagine that if you had total strangers asking you every question under the sun for most of an 8 hour shift at some point you just might become guarded and hesitant to talk about your personal life. You really can't imagine the type of questions that dancers get asked. Most customers think that they can ask whatever they want no matter how creepy or intrusive. Next time you meet a dancer that you wish to get to know better remember that she is working. Compensate her for her time and invite her to sit and chat with you. Ask polite questions and be respectful. Don't ask how her boyfrriend feels about her job, her sex life, if its true that all dancers have been raped or addicted to drugs or beaten by their unemployed boyfriends, have sex for money outside the club, or why they don't get a boob job (if they are natural) or vice versa. Good luck John !

Regarding 19 being "too young" in your opinion to start dancing, I have to disagree. I was 19 when I started dancing and I was so used to making not much over minimum wage that I appreciated every dollar I earned at the club I agree with u about 18 being too young, I was still in high school when I was 18. I say give the younger girls a fair chance to see if stripping is something that can make their life better....if it only brings negativity then they know that, they can learn from it, and figure out a way to go to college or beauty school or something. It seems like more often than not, in the strip club industry, most girls regardless of age don't last very long anyway. And the ones who are able to support themselves thru dancing, go to school, save money, and still have a sense of humor.....at least the ones I have met.....started pretty young. I just think that yes, 18 is a bit young....but at the same time women mature faster than men and its supposed to be okay for 18 year old men to join the military , get shipped off to kill strangers in countries they know nothing or little about....come back to the US with PTSD from watching their friends' faces get blown off right in front of them....they come back addicted to drugs and alcohol because that's the only way they know how to handle what's going on around them.....watching women and children die - seeing things that some of us can only imagine in a nightmare or catch a glimpse of on television or in a movie. I think that if the US deems it a "noble and couragous" thing for 18 year olds to be subjected to that very harsh reality.....let a 19 year old try working in a strip club. She can quit whenever she wants - if she doesn't like some aspect of it (and who does enjoy everything about their job?) She can handle it however she wants. That 18 year old soldier , well, he signed on for 4 years. And if the statistics I've read don't lie, he's going to be more fucked up than the under 21 stripper will ever be..... How old were you when you started stripping ? I have a feeling you were over 21. Everybody's situation is different as you pointed out. I don't think its fair to assume that unless you are at least 21, you are too immature to strip. I've seen 35 year old strippers who, in MY opinion, are too DRUNK to be stripping. And what about a cut-off age ? If we are regulating ages now.....why not just say 40 is too old ? Because some 40 year olds look 34 and some look 44. The reality is that 18 has been the minimum age at most clubs that don't serve booze, like The Vu and seedy little nude clubs. Catering to a younger clientele - college kids, etc. And older, pervy men who generally come alone. Majority of topless clubs now that serve booze DO REQUIRE girls to be 21. It used to not be this way and 18-20 girls could work the topless clubs as long as they wore a bracelet letting waitresses know they couldn't drink. Now, however, laws have changed and if u are an older more mature dancer who doesn't want to deal with younger dancers 18-20 - just stick to the topless only clubs.....that serve booze. Leave the youngsters to work the seedy, nude clubs where they can get a good taste for what they are in for if they want to give dancing a real shot as a career in the long run. Question before I sign off - why are you working in a nude club with all your experience (and from your pictures you look quite pretty) ? Is that the only option where you live ? And if the club where you work serves alcohol, how come they can hire under 21 year old girls ? Never heard of anywhere like this before.
  11. TATIANA Post author on :

I'm glad that YOU started at 19 and had a good experience.....that doesn't mean that every young and/or immature and perhaps "too shy/scared to set boundaries" girl is. I have my opinion AND you have yours. And that is a good thing.
Yes, most teenage girls are more mature than teenage boys, we all know this, there are plenty of reports on that, in the end personal maturity is an individual thing.
I do think that 18 is way too young to go to war and the consequences that follow can be awful and it takes a strong mind to be able to deal with some of the horrors a war brings. I don't know if I could deal with it.
I have a friend that got involved with some things when she was 19/20 that she for sure would not have done if she had been a bit older, because she didn't have the tools then to say no and stand up for herself. Years of therapy have helped her move on. This is also why I have written a few blogs about that I think 18 is way too young for girls to start doing porn.
The club I work at locally is the only club in a 140 mile radius. It's nude and they serve alcohol, therefore they only hire girls 21 and up. I'm not going to travel for a day each time I am going to work, that wouldn't make any sense. When I work in Vegas I work at a topless club, here in AK it is nude.
I never said that I work with girls here that are under 21. I do remember back in the day at Olympic Garden and Crazy Horse Too in Vegas, they did have a few girls working that were under 21 but they were required to wear a bracelet so the waitress didn't serve them alcohol (like you mention)....I don't know if they still allow this in Vegas but for some reason I don't think so.
Being too drunk to be stripping has no age, I have seen young girls that are too drunk as well as older ones, too drunk or too out of shape or whatever it might be has no age. There are plenty of women that I have worked in in their mid to late 30's that look much better than somebody in their 20's. It's all about how you take care of yourself. And the body and face you were born with.
That said - I appreciate your comment!
    🙂

I made a comment about you working with younger girls because I was reading about the Starbucks girl who u said maybe wanted to be a stripper and u said she was 19 so I guess I figured she would be working at the same place u work or want to anyway...... I could not help but notice in your blog how you were complaining a lot about where u live. U also tell us about your house is las vegas and you have more activities there. I haven't always lived in america but I have been living in las vegas myself for a little while now. Hope I am not getting too personal, I have only read this blog for a short time since a customer of mine told me about it. So there are maybe answers to my questions in the blog but u have sooooooo many entries I don't know where to start looking. So my question is that if u are not so happy living where Putin does not even want to rule over why are u living there ?? Only thing that makes sense to me is that despite some slow or bad days at work the money must be hella good or that u have a family there. I mean family members or an older child or something. I don't understand living where u don't want to live if u don't have to. U can dance anywhere u want so u might as well do it somewhere u are happy. If u like working with girls who are not very young then vegas is perfect for u as long as u stick to dancing topless. Those clubs won't allow any 18, 19, or 20 year olds. I was going to point out an upside to working with younger girls tho that I have seen. They almost never have those "DIVA" attitudes that some older girls get who have plastic surgery and been spoiled or let money go to their heads. They are usually happy to have an experienced girl talk to them and are pretty down to earth. They still have dreams of using their stripper money paying for law school. Tatiana , why not go to new york or san francisco or chicago and stay longer than a few weeks ? I know everyone has a dog so u can bring yours and put an ad on craigslist that u are looking for place for u and dog to stay .....that could be too personal and I notice that there are not many comments on entries maybe u do not want the friendly advice from readers but mostly u are simply expressing your own thoughts ? Sometimes people need to be asked before they will comment on something. But u might not want comments I don't know who u really are ....I am interested in knowing more but the entries so far have been very vague about things I think readers want to know. Like why on earth are u living in what reads like the most uninteresting place on earth? And why do u have a house there ? Did someone leave it to u in their will or something and u are stuck until ..... ? If being too personal just say so.

Hmmmmm.....LOL. Where do I start? I first came to AK because I was sick and tired of working in Vegas (so I am very familiar with the clubs in Vegas)....I heard about the Great Alaskan Bush Company in Anchorage and went there for two weeks and did really good. Returned to Vegas and made another trip back to Anchorage a few months later and did well again. Decided upon returning to Vegas to pack up my car and drove up to AK to spend at least the summer here. Well, I stayed longer. I no longer live in Anchorage so therefore I no longer work at the Great Alaskan Bush Co.
I love NYC (my fave city in the US) and I have worked there BUT living there with Chhaya (my baby) is probably not doable. I'm thinking about what's good for Chhaya. And do I really want to pay rent in NYC, it's expensive and I don't want some roomate that might end up being a psycho.
My family lives in Sweden and I don't have children, besides Chhaya. I live a VERY comfortable life in AK but yes I get bored sometimes. My blog is basically an online diary and a place for me to express my thoughts and feelings.....if I'm bored or fed up with something I might write about it here. And I am far from the only person that thinks this place is boring trust me.....most locals are "complaining" about how boring it is here, because it is! Unless you like fishing and hunting that is. And I don't, I don't eat meat. Many around here drink as a "fun" activity, I don't do that either. The drunks and meth users around here are plenty. The weather is changing for the better so I will occupy myself with activities that I enjoy.

My house here is Putin's private retreat.....I think Putin is a great man and very SEKSI.
The barista at the coffee shop does not work at Starbucks, I don't go to Starbucks unless there are no other options.
I don't mind young girls at work, I said that I think girls should wait until they are about 21 or older to start stripping. My new personal fave at the club here is 22, I call her my baby, she has an amazing behind and we get along great. I like all the girls (I'm not jealous cause I don't need to be) , unless they are dirty hookers. Then not so much.

I don't mind the questions/comments. So....now I'm curious.....where are you from if you are not from the US and where in Vegas do you dance? Little Darlings or Deja Vu or one of the large topless clubs?
    🙂
