Some coffee stuff talk this Friday the 13th evening.....
I am trying this coconut cream & almond milk mixture called Better Half instead of dairy half and half for my at home coffee. It works.



After my last two lattes this month were a disappointment at Bad Owl coffee shop I think I am done with that place......not my side of town anyways.



We use Black Drop coffee at "my" cafe. That is me (taking the pic) making a coffee this morning, well pushing a button, the machine is doing the rest.



And yes.....we did get a Yelp review the other day, I was not working that day but it still makes me happy. The cafe is owned by an amazing girl and I want her place to become a success.
"I am impressed by this Black Drop coffee. Best I ever had. I like the decor and hospitality of the staff. Great place. I will be going back this week."

Speaking of Friday the 13th and scary stuff. I love scary movies and haunted houses so I might entertain myself with a scary movie tonight. It's good I have a buff pitbull to hug at night. A very gassy pitbull this evening, she got a mixture of Whole Foods goodies for dinner. Broccoli was one of the ingredients.
Anyhow......many years ago I would sometimes entertain myself and friends with the Ouija board but one evening after a weird (of many) and scary encounter/meeting/occurance or whatever you want to describe it as I decided never again and I have stuck to that promise. I dabbled in that a few times in the past and I think it is real. Scary real. In Sweden we call it Anden i Glaset and I would make my own Ouija boards.....and use a glass and a candle.

Well this beautiful, friendly and sweet dog found a home. We tried locating the owner/s but nobody responded to our attempts so he is now adopted by a couple that recently lost their pitbull.
They love him already and things are going great so far. He is safe and loved. ❤
I don't know how he got lost or what happened to him, all I know is that I heard a dog barking continuously and when I went outside to investigate I found a scared dog that was lost, hungry and thirsty. Things worked out in the end because I was worried for a while, did not want him to end up in any kind of shelter. I am relieved and happy.

This evening I walked up the small mountain (large hill) of Mountain's Edge park. The moon was out and it was very windy. It felt like a challenge trudging uphill against strong wind gusts and I like that.





Driving away from there I was listening to the radio and heard some of Obama's farewell speech. It must be very emotional to step down as President, whether it's after one or two terms. I would had been bawling because I am a SUPER emotional person and I can cry and laugh in the span of 15 seconds. But I really like these snippets...."If you’re tired of arguing with strangers on the Internet, try talking with one of them in real life. Oh the arguments people sometimes have online, anonymously for the most part because when people hide behind being anonymous they often feel invincible. And many can't stand for their opinions or words in real life. What I can say about myself is that everything I have ever said online (my blog) or even when talking about somebody (sometimes one just has to vent) are all things that I am able to say to somebody's face if I haven't already. I don't make up stories or lies about anyone, I stick to the facts.
So onto my latest food craving, I get cravings once in a while and start eating something on an almost daily basis, like watermelon for example......well, the latest is chicken soup. And I pick out the chicken and give to Chhaya and some of the carrots too. She waits and drools in bed while waiting for her chicken and carrots to cool.
I sleep in dog drool, dog hair and whatever other "germs" she has.....probably no more or less germs than I have and I am perfectly healthy. A healthy dose of germs will only make you stronger I think.



Well.....goodnight to all of you. I got up early and I think I will be going to bed soon.

EDIT .....I had to watch Obama's farewell address before I called it a night. I can't write about political issues without watching it. And I am glad I did. Very eloquent and well spoken but Obama always delivers his speeches, he is intelligent and highly educated. And I LOVE how he loves Michelle and his daughters, it was very touching when he spoke to his wife. Like a REAL man. There is a lot of love in that family. I wish them the best and a great future journey.

January 8 already.....how many have broken their New Year's resolutions? I did not make any and I went running three times this week, about a 30 minute run each time. I like the way it makes me feel.
So.....if you are one of those politically correct or easily offended types you should probably stop reading now. My blog is not politically correct because I am not, I say whatever is on my mind. If you don't like it or don't agree, oh well. Opinions are, as we all know, like assholes......everybody has one. I might not be right all the time and if I feel I said something wrong I will be the first one to admit that and even apologize IF I feel it is necessary. Some people don't care much about anything besides their own business and barely even that (lucky them). Maybe I care too much but at least I feel alive.
So let's start with today's news. Something that seems to be rather normal in this country, a daily thing. A Mom and her boyfriend raped and murdered the Mom's 14 year old adopted daughter. I guess it had been a fantasy of theirs for a while. The girl was tortured, raped and murdered. Oh all the stellar "Moms" out there that put the well being and safety of their own children on the back burner just so they can have a "man" in their life. Whether it's abuse, neglect, getting high or drunk together, molestation or murder. What the FUCK is wrong with you women? STOP looking for "love" in random places when you have children and things did not work out so well with the person you had your kid/s with, BE A MOTHER and put the "love" business on hold. I don't have children. By choice. But I can tell you this much, if some piece of shit man would had even touched my kid the wrong way, with my temper, I would had cut him into pieces. Talking only does so much. And I have noticed that the new "trend" even when you looked the other way while your new boyfriend abused or raped your child/children is to set up a GoFundMe account to help out with funeral costs. Yeah.....have the public pay for your immoral shortcomings.
These two pieces of shits that did this to the 14 year old girl should get the death penalty. Why should they even be allowed to get out in society one day? Plus the girl was ADOPTED.....just another reason to be sure you WANT to have children before you decide to start squeezing them out. Any moron can donate sperm or carry a baby, it's a completely different thing to be a PARENT.
And how about the gang of four that kidnapped and tortured a disabled teen while streaming some of it live on Facebook. "Fuck white people" and "fuck Donald Trump"? Looking at their pathetic and ugly mugshots I can tell that they severely lack intelligence. I hope they get royally fucked in prison where they belong for a very long time. Where is Al Sharpton, how come he is not loudly yelling from somewhere? I would like for him to say something about this. You know what...I am SO over the Black Lives Matter movement, I am sick and tired of hearing about it. These four assholes lives certainly do not matter to me. MAKE YOUR life matter, regardless of the color of your skin.
Another two stellar members of society who's lives don't matter are the two disgusting excuses for humans that got convicted in making crush videos (Brent Justice and Ashley Richards)....I hope they get tortured to death in prison. So before you think it is a GREAT idea for your cute dog or cat to produce a litter or a few......think about what might happen to the puppies or kittens if they end up in the wrong hands. THINK. Will you please?
And if you are in a gang, whatever ethnicity you are, if you are an adult and in a gang and get shot that is the life you chose for yourself. I do not have any sympathy for some fools getting shot in Chicago or anywhere else because they are in gangs. We are better off with them dead anyways. I feel bad for innocent people that get caught in gun fire or fall victim to any other violent act carried out by these leeches on society. I feel bad for the police that have deal with that bullshit on an everyday basis, it's good I am not a cop. What's really scary is that people like that breed. A lot.
Again, I wish there was some mandatory "fit for parenting" test you would have to pass before you were allowed to reproduce. I think society would be better off then.
OK.....I think that was it for this Sunday evening. I got a new book (yes!), The IKEA Story by Bertil Torekull. I freakin' LOVE IKEA! They should open up a store in Anchorage and have me manage it.

Well.....I woke up with a stiff and sore neck today. I felt it starting to come on slightly yesterday but today it got uncomfortable.
After a breakfast of skorpor, ost (crisp rolls and cheese) from IKEA and tea which is my latest breakfast obsession I decided that I was going to take it easy today. Meaning sleep and eat.



I am in bed now and for the first time ever I am trying a medicated patch that I slapped on the back of my neck. I have now reached fogbone status, are medicated patches going to be a weekly thing from now on? I am not sure how I like it, it's like weird burning sensation. I am also thinking about rereading this book by Lars Kepler called The Sandman . I got it about a month ago and was so looking forward to reading it because I had heard that it was very good and also scary but I was disappointed. It was good enough but not great. Meh......I might read it again and then pass it on. Who wants it?



But now I have to tell you about what happened earlier. So around 9 PM I hear a bunch of barking outside, I look out the window and see a loose dog running around. About 10-15 minutes later I hear barking again, so I look and it is the same dog. I get dressed and go outside and discover a light brown pittbull with a collar and a doggie shirt on. It ran towards me, stopped at a distance and just barked. I felt that he was scared, lost and needed help. But I did not know if he was friendly. So I got Chhaya's leash, filled up a bowl with her kibble and another with water and got in my car and slowly drove until I spotted him again. I put the bowl on the ground and called him over, he approached carefully and gobbled down all the kibble while I told him he was a good boy. Then another car pulled up and the driver, a girl asked if that was my dog and I said no and explained what was going on. We both got out of our cars and the dog was just wagging his tail, I attached the leash to his collar. The girl said she thought he lives in our gated community but not exactly sure where and texted another neighbor while I walked the dog to the bowl with water that he drank. The neighbor came outside and looked at the dog and decided to keep him until she/we can find the owner, hopefully tomorrow. I am glad I decided to get outside and check on that dog, had he ran outside the gates who knows where he would had been tonight. Maybe not alive now. He was scared. I can only imagine if Chhaya was lost somewhere without me, she would had been scared too and I would had been devastated not knowing if she was safe.

Hello 2017 and New Year's Day!
I don't make New Year's Resolutions.....I recall some past ones were to drink more water and to go to one rave a month.
I attended a get together with friends last night. Had a nice time, even got a glass of pretty pink bubbly to make a toast with and today I have nothing in particular planned besides taking Chhaya out for a walk. I wonder if I can get a latte anywhere or are most places closed? Another thing I recall I did one New Year's Day after a night of dancing at Together As One in Los Angeles was to go to a Brookstone and relax in one of their massage chairs for a while.....
My best New Years Eves hands down so far have been dancing at some party/rave. Nothing like dancing in the New Year - feeling alive.
Well, good continuation my friends. Let's see what 2017 has in store. Already a tragedy in Istanbul. The situation in Europe and all over the World is sad. I will try to do my small part in 2017 to make a day or a moment better for somebody, human or animal.
I want to write a special thank you here to Diann that recently collected several hundred dollars (I think around $500) to give to Alaska's Extended Life Sanctuary (a no kill animal shelter) in Nikiski Alaska. She said that I started this and yes, a few years ago I initiated a collection at work (yes, at the strip club) that led to a few, we collected money for dogs and cats and women and children. These are the things that feel good inside my soul. Thank You Diann for doing this!
