Relaxing in bed after a long day of doing stuff.....just laying here and reading stuff online. Marveling at some people. Read a bit about Hunter Biden's upcoming "devastating" (according to Amazon) memoir "Beautiful Things".
Read for yourself, "In the spring of 2018, he used his "superpower – finding crack anytime, anywhere" – in Los Angeles.
He later learned how to cook drugs and spent a lot of time with thieves, addicts and con artists. "I never slept. There was no clock. Day bled into night and night into day," he writes. The situation grew out of control. "I was smoking crack every 15 minutes," he writes. Biden returned to the East Coast in the fall of 2018, again wanting to get better, though that didn't happen."
Hmmmmm.....ok. Interesting.
Also, he was "drowning myself in alcohol" at some point around the sad passing of his brother and then in 2016 somebody offered him cocaine.
According to a timeline I read (Wikipedia) Biden served as a member on the board of the China-based private equity fund BHR Partners from 2013 to 2020. AND Biden was on the board of Burisma Holdings from sometime in 2014 until April 2019.
Call me unreasonable but how can a person, according to his OWN memoir (due to be released April 6), that was drowning himself in alcohol and smoking crack every 15 minutes hold positions on two boards? These boards are not like your local HOA board, ok......(although some of those can be quite intense as well, this I know from my own experience). He made quite a bit of income too sitting on those boards I bet. There are reports that he made around 50k/month some months from Burisma Holdings. Not bad. There are some other reports out there as well questioning some of his actions while on these boards......
Is Hunter Biden some sort of a super human to pull this off? He did after all possess a superpower that allowed him to find crack anytime and anywhere. Perhaps this superpower assisted him to sit on two different boards for several years while hitting the crack pipe every 15 minutes without snafus?
Impressive indeed. Or perhaps those con artists he met while hunting for crack taught him a thing or two that he later applied to his own dealings. I wonder who else will look into Hunter's timeline for work mixed with serious alcohol and drug abuse now that he himself revealed when he was getting wasted.
Ok....I am going to continue to marvel at strange stories and people online now.
Like how Greg Kelly (some television dude I never watched) once smoked weed and miraculously went from Kentucky to Kenya with no memory of it. WTF? And LOL. I don't smoke weed but maybe I should start if I could go on journeys like these while high.
Sounds like FUN!
PS - I am sober and if a board is looking to hire a sharp and sober person and pay them up to 50k/month....look no further!

Hi there....checking in here with the latest from me.
Did another photo shoot, yes soon you will see me on the cover of Vogue and Sports Illustrated but until then you will have to read my blog to see any photos of me. For this shoot I also brought along a friend that wants more pictures of herself and why not, when you are 25 you should take as many pictures of yourself as you can so you can marvel at how cute and young you once used to be....My friend's name is Ann and she took some pics of us for her Snapchat.....when you are in your 20s you do things like Snapchat. Pics with some sort of filter. That explains why most girls on Snapchat, Instagram and other types of social media look like flawless big eyed cartoon characters. Filters.





I decided to make an effort for this shoot and bought a foundation and even got some foundation brushes - fancy!
I never use foundation, I used to a long time ago and one day I got smart and realized that my skin looked and felt way better without it. No need for foundation. But I guess for a photoshoot I can make an exception. My first thought was to get the Armani Luminous Silk but the stores around here are only selling the larger size bottle and I do not need that much so I got a much cheaper brand, L'Oréal. It looked a little weird on I initially thought but I got used to it.



AND I painted my toenails. It's been over a year since I had a pedicure and nail polish on my toes....of course I take care of my feet at home but I decided to let my nails breathe hence no polish. Well I decided on pink and glitter (of course).
And in case you are really into feet or curious about MY feet in particular, here you go - two pics of my feet. Size 8 in case you wonder. Another fun fact, foot massage is one of my fave activities to enjoy. Preferably for two hours.





And from foundation and nail polish to dogs. Today I had Pet Pack. And I met a super cute shy little girl named Lola. And her Dad Bob. We gave her a blanket that she immediately took a liking to.



And after Pet Pack I took Lola and Bob (a Vietnam veteran) to the VA hospital so they could get shelter and stay the night and so Lola's Dad could get his second dose of COVID-19 vaccine tomorrow. Lola was tired and started snoring one minute into getting into my car.



Afterwards I went and picked up some food at the Hawthorne Asylum food carts.
Drove home and ate. Went for a walk. Relaxed. And now I am in bed not all wanting it to be Monday tomorrow. I have a busy week ahead of me. I'd rather sleep and do "nothing".

I spent Monday afternoon doing some hair modeling for the Olivia Garden high performance professional flat iron. A hair stylist flew in from CA to record a tutorial on how to make spiral curls with this tool and needed a model with long hair and that is how I came into the picture.
I sat around at a downtown salon for a few hours and watched how they (there were two stylists) did their magic on mannequin heads (with real hair), then I got my make up done and hair curled.



Hair salon products. My next line to try is going to be Kevin Murphy. And Briogeo.



What color am I? There are cool and warm blonde tones.



Here is the result although about 40 minutes "old".....so the curls are coming out. I don't know HOW some people have the time and patience to do their hair every day. To each their own.



For my extraordinary supermodel efforts I got some pictures (there was a photographer there as well), I will get a copy of the video and I got a swag bag full of Olivia Garden brushes and Truss products. Yeay!

I got up at 9 30 today so I could be downtown and ready for Pet Pack (needed to grab a latte first, always) by 11. While in the parking lot with my latte, the person in the vehicle next to me backed into my car. It was an older man and since my car is far from a newer model and already got plenty of scratches and dents I told him not to worry about it. Why complicate someone's life if not necessary?
It was a busy day at Pet Pack and I even got flowers, daffodils and a flower made of fabric that I can keep forever.

Yes I know I said that I do not like to receive cut flowers and everybody that knows me is aware of that but in this situation this person only knows me from a few short meetings at Pet Pack.....



I took the flowers home. I am not going to throw them away although I prefer that flowers don't get cut. And speaking of flowers, we are a week into March and I am starting to see cute little flowers slowly peeking out.



It is Sunday evening. How was your week? Mine was.....well I had a conflict with a person so I have been dealing with that.
Tomorrow I am having a busy day from 10 am until 11 pm. Tonight I am going to take a bath, wash my hair and put on a face mask. Maybe watch a movie. A typical Sunday evening.

In case you don't already know....you can make great bargains on anything Valentine's Day related if you wait until after Valentine's Day to get the card, chocolates, flowers, teddy bear etc.
So instead of stressing and running around on V-Day next year.....wait until the day after or even better about four days or so (for the even better bargains) after Valentine's Day and really spoil your special person with a lot of stuff.
I do not want flowers ever, flowers should only grow outside or in a pot if they are inside, instead of sadly wilting to their death in a vase. I think it is flower abuse to have flowers in a vase. So wasteful.
Look at all the flowers that are left over from February 14.





I like to appreciate my family and friends on Valentine's Day. It's not only about romantic love for me.
The other day one of my friends came over and we had these super cute macarons and some pink bubbly wine that was yucky. I want to find a sweet and yummy bubbly wine and it has to be pink. Still looking.....the one I had one New Year's Eve was ok.
Don't feel bad if you didn't get showered with Valentine's gifts this year or ever.
Remember that many of the couples that show off their "happy" relationship on social media are far from happy in real life.
Celebrate the love you have for family, friends and pets instead! ❤️️




Another thing that is wasteful in my opinion is to get a live tree every year for Christmas only to throw it out when the festivities are over. Poor tree. My plastic tree is over ten years old and it is not going anywhere.

The power outage was still looming earlier today but I think most of Portland will be up and running by tomorrow. Unless something drastic happens.....I guess you never know.
