Planning for New York....

Julia and Tatiana are trying to make plans to go to New York soon. They are thinking about going sometime in May, and staying for a few months if they like it. Hopefully, they can find a club that they can both agree on and like.

Tatiana has worked in New York several times in the past, and she loved it.

Julia has been to New York a few times, but never worked there.

If anyone frequents the NYC strip clubs, please leave a comment or e-mail us and let us know where you think we should work. The Fargo Sisters are always open to suggestions!!!!

Thanks !!

Tatiana & Julia

We are also looking for a place to stay, after we wear out our welcome at Elaine & Ed's.

Tatiana can clean, and Julia can walk around topless. Da Nang!!

Fake Eyelashes are Da Nang!!

You might be wondering what Julia has been up to
these days. Or you might be wondering how she
spends her free time. Lately she has been working
as much as possible, and spending many hours
getting her hair done. A few weeks ago she started
getting fake eyelashes super-glued onto her real ones.
The results are great, and she is trying to convince
Tatiana to get some. These are not ordinary fake
lashes, that glue on in a strip and wash off as soon as
water touches them. Julia has been getting individual
fake lashes put on with an adhesive like super-glue.
She loves them ! Hopefully, Tatiana will get some too.
They look great, and there is no need for mascara.

Perfect!

Julia's Bad Date

Dave Matthews Band, MGM Grand, Las Vegas (3-23-2007)

Julia went to go see the Dave Matthews Band a few
weeks ago with a friend from Denver. The Fray was
opening and Julia is a big fan. After The Fray played
their set, Julia looked around and realized that she
was surrounded by hippies ! They were all VERY
EXCITE
to see Dave Matthews. Julia couldn't
understand why they were so enthusiastic. Dave
Matthews is pretty good, but he is no BORAT. When
Dave started playing, the crowd went wild. Women
were screaming and waving their hands around and
dancing like they were at a Gratefull Dead concert.
One woman was even wearing a shirt that she had
made herself that said "DAVE, MY HUSBAND SAID IT
WAS OKAY."
WTF? After sending Tatiana
numerous text messages relating how bored and out
of place she felt, Julia decided something must be done.

The Dave Matthews fans were out of control and Julia
didn't think the music was all that good. So when her
date announced that he was going to the bathroom,
Julia fled from the venue. She raced to her car, while
frantically text messaging her date that the smell of
marijuana gave her panic attacks and she just had to
leave. Her date was, of course, a little hurt that she
had left suddenly without saying goodbye.

But you know what they say :
desperate times call for desperate measures.

The Fray was wonderful, and Julia recommends that
everyone should see them in concert, or at least buy
their cd. They are from Denver, and Julia got to meet
the drummer and his girlfriend one night at Shotgun
Willies.

Da Nang!!

Waxing time!

Tatiana decided it was time again.....time to wax those hairy thighs..........
She used to do it at a salon but soon realized that she could do just as good of a job herself at home and it would also be cheaper. Today she used Nair for $ 9.99, at the salon an upper leg wax costs about $ 30 plus a tip, whatever......
Tatiana thinks back to the day when she first shaved her upper legs with chagrin.....
She used to have fine, blond thigh hairs until one day she shaved because a friend was shaving her whole legs. To Tatiana's horror the hair that grew back was darker and coarser! So now she waxes about every six weeks and shaves her lower legs.
Tatiana feels like a very considerate person, she doesn't want to subject the patrons in the clubs that gaze at her long legs to a nightmarish vision of dark fur, so she keeps them smooth.
What about Julia? Well, Julia shaves her whole legs, it makes her very cranky because it is so time consuming but she is also a considerate person.
Last year when the girls were in Denver, Julia decided to get a Brazilian after admiring a fellow dancers smooth crotch area. If you don't know what a Brazilian is (GASP!), it is when all the hair or almost all of it is waxed from the private parts. From the front,
to the back. Ouch!
Tatiana was sitting next to Julia documenting bits and pieces of the process by taking pictures and video on her cellphone. And offering support to this painful ordeal.
And painful it was.......Julia had to stop halfway through, she just couldn't muster up the courage to go all the way. So it ended up being almost finished.
Now you know how the girls deal with some of their body hair.

Basketball Game Party at Sapphire

On April 2nd, Julia and Tatiana worked in the afternoon
at Sapphire. This was because the club was having a
party for a college basketball game. They participated
in a "stripper basketball contest", with a prize of $500
cash. Of course, Julia and Tatiana wanted to win. They
practiced for about 2 hours in the parking lot with the
sun beating down on them. Things were looking good
and the girls were getting very happy thinking about
the $500. Then came the reality of the contest.
Everyone was lined up, about ten girls total. Tatiana
got 5 out of 10 free throws and Julia got 4 out of 10.
Unfortunatly, Julia didn't make it to the 2nd round.
Tatiana did, and she competed with 3 other girls for
the money. In the end, the prize went to a blonde girl
with a CareBear tattoo. Tatiana was more upset over
the loss than Julia was. It didn't seem fair, but that's
life.

Maybe next year, right?

Feminism!

Yesterday Tatiana spoke at a conference about FEMINISM that took place at the Imperial Palace hotel in Las Vegas. She was invited to speak through a friend and she spoke for about one hour to an audience of about 30 people, mostly academics that came from all over the world.
Tatiana spoke about her experiences as a dancer and how it is to live and work in Las Vegas as a woman. She did great and got lots of positive feedback from the audience and she even got beautiful flowers, it was a good experience.
Regarding the topic of feminism, dancing and how it is to live and work in Vegas....
well Tatiana has many opinions and sometimes much to say about it depending on how motivated she feels.
Feel free to ask any questions!
Basically she feels that a dancer (stripper, exotic dancer) does not have to be a victim (Tatiana certainly is not), can carry herself well and speak in an intelligent and intellectual manner, behave well (meaning not sell herself out for some extra money). There's much more to be said about this but for now this will be sufficient.
