Tatiana is in AWE of Padma Lakshmi's beautiful figure. This woman is going on 42, has a kid and looks better than most girls half her age. And she looks totally natural too. What a beauty! To quote Padma " I would rather spend half my life at the gym and eat whatever I want than sit on my butt and starve." YES, Tatiana totally agrees. Though Tatiana should go to the gym asap for some cardio. Since she has been back home, there has been a lot of eating whatever she wants, no gym and she can definitely see the result of all the food on her body. LOL.
How do you look this good after having a kid? If Tatiana had a kid she would be a whale, seriously. Padma is Tatiana's new role model.

I like to try all kinds of products for my hair, well different shampoos, conditioners and leave in conditioners. I have tried so many products, most of them actually.
I don't ever blow dry my hair, use a curling iron or a flat iron. Unless a stylist does my hair for a photo shoot but that does not happen often. No bleach. Nothing too harsh.
I only comb my hair with a wide tooth comb. Sometimes I neglect my hair by not combing it for a few days, I just throw it up in a bun and ignore it. Then it gets tangled pretty badly and I have to sit and carefully untangle it while promising myself to never let it get that tangled again.......(I always break that promise).
In the pic are the current hair products that I got out of my bathroom today.
L'Oreal EverCreme sulfate free intense nourishing shampoo. I really like this shampoo, very rich and creamy. I am planning on trying all the other products in the EverCreme line.
Paul Mitchell super charged moisturizer, this is a great conditioner and it smells soooooo good.
Moroccan Oil intense hydrating mask, I like all the Moroccan Oil products, quality stuff.
Infusion 23 conditioner.
Matrix conditioning balm.
Kerastase Masquintense, a nourishing treatment that I haven't tried yet.
Biosilk leave in treatment, smells very yummy and works pretty well too.
Besides switching up shampoos and conditioners, I sometimes make my own conditioning treatment by mixing together olive oil and about four or five egg yolks. Then I put it all into my hair after I shampoo it and leave this mixture in my hair, loosely wrapped in a towel for about 45 minutes. Then I rinse and follow with conditioner.
In the daytime I usually wear my hair in a bun or sometimes a braided ponytail. It is so long that it gets in my way too much when I drive etc. I sleep with it up also.
I cut my hair about twice, tops three times a year, a few inches every time. My fave hairdresser is one of my besties Angelica but she lives in Chicago now, so I don't see her that often. You want your hair to get long(er)? Don't cut it too often, leave your hair alone, that is my advice.
There is also a place in LA called George Michael of Beverly Hills Salon, that place is fantastic and they specialize in long hair and offer an amazing hair treatment. I try to go there when I have the chance. Pure luxury!

Tatiana is sitting on the couch (again), watching the American version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It is a long movie and it has not Tatiana's full attention. Whether she likes Noomi or Rooney better as Lisbeth......hmmmm.....Tatiana probably has to go with Noomi.
That dead, bloody cat on the porch was gross btw.
The sun is shining in Kenai today again. Tatiana can watch the birds eating from the bird feeders on the balcony from where she is sitting.
After this movie is done, Tatiana will get dressed and do something productive. Like go and get a latte.
Actually she has to do dishes first. The kitchen is a disaster. Tatiana is not in the mood to bother.
Yesterday Mikey called Tatiana while he was shopping for jeans at the Diesel store at the Fashion Show Mall in Vegas. Tatiana SOOOOO wanted to be there! Iced vanilla latte in hand, flip flops on feet, browsing for some jeans. She has seen a recent ad for some super cute Diesel jeans that she would looove to try on.
Tatiana got her first Diesel stuff a long time ago, when she still lived in Sweden.
Anyways, not much to report here, Tatiana already told you......Kenai is boring. No drama here.
Tatiana has to come up with some to keep things interesting......

Just woke up and trying to decide on what I am going to do today. Some things I do every day, like walk Chhaya. Then there are things that
I do almost every day, laundry and clean - but that feels extremely mundane today. I go out for my latte on an almost every day basis too.
Right now I am sitting on the couch trying to figure out whether I should work tonight or not. If I don't work for a while I get into an "evil" circle of becoming unmotivated and not wanting to work. If I work on a regular basis, I just do it. Hmmmmmm......... If I don't work tonight, all I will do is sit around, read, eat, flip through the channels and go to sleep sometime after 2 AM.
Kenai is a place that doesn't offer too much in the "to do" department, in others words - it is freaking boooooring here!
I am planning on a trip next month with Rose-Marie.......a very fun trip, so I am excited! You will get to read all about it, once I am at my destination.
Well, I think I am going to get dressed now, go get my coffee and then have some breakfast. Starting to get hungry.
Some days just start out slow like molasses. This is one of those days. I need an energy boost.

This is where Tatiana keeps some of her undies, a three drawer plastic bin. It's the stuff she wears the most. The rest is stored in another drawer here
and in Vegas. This is not her stuff for work, which is, conveniently of course - at work.
Some of Tatiana's Ugly Dolls are hanging out with the undies too.



And the fragrances, the fave is VIVA La Juicy by Juicy. Also Petite Cherie by Annick Goutal - that one is heavenly.
Tatiana misses her bathroom in Vegas - best bathroom ever and she had it organized and decorated really cute too......

I did find a sled for Chhaya. But she'd rather be pulled by me than pull me around. Had a fun time outside with my girl today, it was even warm enough
in the sun to relax on the porch.



Ok, so my predictions for Dancing With The Stars.......well, I should dance with Maks next season - that one is a given!
I don't think Maks will get the trophy with Melissa as his partner, she is a good looking lady but too stiff, not enough rhythm.
Note to self - when I get older I should definitely take up yoga to keep limber and fluent in my movements......
My fave of the evening was Roshon Fegan, don't know who he is but he can move. A skinny kid with lots of moves. I also think that both the top scores of the night, Katherine (very pretty too) and Jaleel have got what it takes. So let's see.......you never know.
But last season there was Carson Kressley, sooooo fab, no Carson in sight this season........
I aaaaadoooooreee Carson, he can do no wrong in my eyes.
