Fishing

Last night when I arrived at the club around 9 45 pm there were 15 girls there and four guys. So I didn't even change, instead I sat on the couch and could not believe what I was seeing.
It was not looking good. But then people started trickling in and by midnight I was in my heels and slowly starting to gather money. I left a little before 4 am, it was on ok night. Not good or great but ok. So better than nothing.
While walking to the dressing room a guy ran up to me and asked me in a heavy accent,
"You Russian?" I explained to him that I am Polish. He wanted to know if I spoke Russian since that is where he was from, Moscow to be precise. I told him that I understand a little but I speak Polish......and a couple of more languages but I doubt he spoke Swedish or French.
My German is getting rusty. Then he wanted to know if I could leave the club and come and join him and his TEN Russian friends camping at the river to go fishing. Ehhhhh.......NO.
He had a difficult time comprehending that I would not leave the club. I told him that I only work in the club, no meeting up with anyone outside. His English was not the best either.
I know that in Russia the girls that work in "strip clubs" aka brothels also see guys outside, you basically pick the girl you fancy and then you buy her out, but here in the US it doesn't work like that. Sure, some girls do have sex with guys outside of the club for money, of course but many don't. I of course DON'T . And the girls that do this usually keep that quiet because it is rather frowned upon since a strip club should not be a brothel in any way. And meeting up with ten Russian guys on the river in the middle of the night sounds like an adventure that I rather pass up than get to experience.
What I am more interested in is that my very SEKSI man Vladimir Putin has finally divorced Lyudmila. Now I am hoping that he is going to plan a fishing trip to Kenai, since he is an avid outdoors man and decide to come in to the club and fall head over heels for me. Cause I know he would, I would charm him in an instant. I know that there is a passionate man hiding behind that icy cold stare. Somebody needs to tell my Volodya (Putin's nickname in case you wonder) about my blog and he needs to get in touch with me. I can totally see myself ruling the Kremlin with Putin by my side.

48 Hours

It has been really beautiful and warm here the last few days. I have been laying outside enjoying the sunshine. Here is a small recap of the last 48 hours on my life......
My latte had this pretty heart on top! ❤ If I was a barista I too would learn how to decorate people's lattes with hearts, leaves and stars.

The nice view from Bridge Access Road and a heard of 13 caribou (not all of them are in the picture) that were out there frolicking. They had little babies that were jumping around looking sooooo cute!

What I had on Thursday night.

And what I had on last night and my new book that I brought into work with me.

Me in the car after work looking forward to going home.

What happened at work the last couple of nights? Hmmmmm......Thursday I was lucky enough to basically chat all night with a nice, fun and intelligent person. One of the girls I work with, that should have retired since about five years ago because she shuffles around the club looking like a mix between an injured penguin and a zombie sat at the bar, blew her nose with a loud and wet sound into a paper napkin, then proceeded to pick her nose repeatedly and rolling whatever she found up in there in between her fingers. Totally repulsive! That is just an example of some of the lovely "ladies" that I have the pleasure of working with.
Last night some inebriated guy stood up and projectile vomited close to where I was sitting, it splattered everywhere and a small splatter ended up on my hand. Very nice indeed. Also last night a herd of young drunk 20 somethings came in with no money, sat around the stage, acted loud with their mouths agape looking like a group of inbreds. Shortly after that, I left.
I have no patience with idiots. After witnessing stuff like this I sure am glad that I am not like that.

24 Hours

Here's a little recap of the last 24 hours of my life.
Work last nigh.....sucked again. Almost all the girls are complaining now, because it really has been THAT bad. Note that I am number 11 on the list, my fave number! And see number 3? That is Sky. She was here two summers ago and she is one of the hottest girls I have seen in a long time, so I was very happy to see her again. She is the total package, nice natural body, pretty long blonde kind of curly hair and a beautiful face. I love her nose. I finally have something nice to look at! People ask me sometimes if I work with pretty girls. Well, I am picky. So no, not too many of what I consider pretty or beautiful girls. Usually if it has a nice body the face doesn't match, or the girl might have a pretty face but a bad body. Don't take it the wrong way, I am speaking strictly from an aesthetic point of view now. I am not talking about personality or intelligence, just looks. I like for the whole package to look good and Sky has it, plus I like her personality BUT she is way too wild at work for my taste. But I still flirt with her. ;-)

I got home at 3 30 am and woke up a little after 11 am. This is what I slept in.......panties and sports bra from Victorias's Secret.

It was sunny again, so I threw on a bikini and laid out for about an hour. I took the bikini off though, I do not like any tan lines whatsoever. The bikini was for the pic only. So you can inspect my flaws.....or lack of thereof...... ;-)

The other night at work while I was busy taking pictures of myself in the dressing room a girl walked in and asked in a somewhat snobbyish tone, "Are you taking pictures of YOURSELF?". "Yes, of course I take selfies all the time", I replied. She didn't know what a selfie was and claimed that she maybe took two pictures of herself a year. Ok, well I take about 10 pics of myself per day, because I think it is fun and I might use one of those pics for my blog. Plus I take pictures of all kinds of other things too. Whatever. It's not like I don't do anything else useful with my life besides admire myself in the mirror and take selfies. I sleep and drink lattes too. DUH!
Ok, so back to the last 24 hours of my life. I made a salad for dinner with grated cheddar cheese on top, it was good.

I watched two movies at home. Both disappointing. First of all Spring Breakers by Harmony Korine. I though it was going to be a fun movies and I was curios about the performances of the cast but I was disgusted by it, by all of it. One of the absolute worst movies I have ever seen. If I was one of those four main actresses in that movie I would be embarrassed to have that on my resume. Dumb story, a bunch of boobs, asses attempting to shake and look sexy but instead looked pathetic, binge drinking, bongs and pointless drug use. Lame repetitive phrases making no sense. Some violence and people acting ghetto. Horrible. The only thing I was thankful for after the move came to an end, besides that the movie actually ended was that I never acted anything close to that in my life. I have been drunk and stupid a few times and done some dumb shit but not like that.
Who acts like that anyways? Anyone? If so, SCARY!
Then I watched The Devil's Backbone by Guillermo Del Toro. I was looking forward to this movie but it was boring and dragged on.
After the movies I took Chhaya for a walk. It was gorgeous out but we got swarmed by mosquitoes as usual, so we ended up running home.

Now I am in bed, the only light in the room is coming from my MAC, it is actually kind of dark out. We are losing daylight for each day that passes now. In a bit I am going to take out my contacts and go to sleep.

No Inspiration

I have no inspiration for coming up with anything to say right now. I'm kind of moody and feeling a bit off. That will change soon. Maybe I go for a run before work tonight. Work has been so bad for the last two weeks that I feel like it is not fun being there, so I am definitely not inspired to work. If I would tell you what I have been making (rather NOT making) you would probably want to send me a donation! 🙂
I am dreaming of clubs where you are not allowed to do dirty dances and where being a classy girl is appreciated instead of frowned upon and misunderstood by people that do not possess any kind of refinement.
I have been eating pancakes for two days. And it's been sunny so I have been laying out. I am pale. The last time I went to a tanning salon was in 2006 when I was in Denver working at Shotgun Willie's. I got burnt and red and after that decided not to ever lay in a tanning bed again. The first time I started going I think I was in 8th grade. I absolutely regret that now because it really is bad for you but back then I thought it was great and I remember that I looked like I had been on a tropical vacation one winter in Sweden, very brown amongst my pale friends. Now I don't want to burn or get that dark. I do use self tanner once in a while, usually when I work out of town, I have more energy to bother with stuff like that then.
Well, that is all from me today.......

Nice Evening

I am spending this nice evening at home. I was planning on working but then I started cleaning and doing other things, so I am at home. Me and Chhaya went for a nice long walk. This is her telling me that she does NOT want to participate in a photo shoot. Talk about looking miserable!

She is now looking very comfortable while sleeping in her upstairs bed. There is one downstairs too. She scratches the blanket and her lamb friend around until she is satisfied before she lays down.

Today while at PetCo I though that I should maybe switch Chhaya's dry kibble to a different dog food brand. I heard that Blue Wilderness is a good. Right now Chhaya gets Solid Gold's Sun Dancer. I did some research on www.dogfoodadvisor.com and according to that site Blue Wilderness is an excellent dry dog food, it received a top rating (5/5 stars), whereas the Sun Dancer didn't get as good remarks but almost, (4.5/5 stars.)
What they also told me at PetCo is that I should switch Chhaya over to a kibble for senior dogs because it contains less protein. Chhaya is eight and I guess considered a senior although she acts like a puppy most of the time. I did some research on that too and some people say to not give your dog less protein when they become older. That kind of makes more sense to me too. This is what the moderator at dogfoodavisor has to say, "After looking for a satisfactory answer to this common question, I've found the white paper published by Champion Petfoods (makers of Orijen and Acana products) to make the most scientific sense.
In a nutshell, the Orijen paper says... "Contrary to myths and popular beliefs, feeding a high-protein diet is healthy for dogs of any age, including puppies of all breeds and sizes, seniors, and overweight dogs. Studies have proven that protein does not cause orthopedic problems in puppies, nor does it lead to kidney disease in older dogs."
For the most part, I'm inclined to agree. If you get a chance, this Orijen report makes an excellent argument in favor of a high protein diet for all dogs... and it's certainly worth a read."
I want the best for Chhaya.....she is the love and light of my life. It's scary to make choices on the behalf of the pet in your life sometimes because they can't tell you what they need and want. You have to decide for them. Hopefully you end up making the right decision.

I think it is time for a shower now, then some reading in bed. Sweet Dreams from me!

Oh......one more thing. Of course I know that Hilary is not the Vice President, I said Biden (that's why I won the $ 10). But I like to joke around at times when I write here and I know that some of you might not catch on to all the stuff I say...... ;-)
