I spent this Sunday in Portland. Started with a Pet Pack shift. Fell in love with the cutest pit bull girl. She is not in a good situation and I really hope that the people that care for her do better for her. Please spay and neuter your pets. It is super important. And if you do not spay and neuter, then do not breed your pets. And take care of the pets you have. I wish I could save this baby from the life she is living now. Right now she is hungry, skinny, cold and stressed. We fed her on the spot and gave her food to take "home" and another harness and leash. I had an extra blanket in my car that she could have. And I will get a jacket for her and hopefully I see her next time I have Pet Pack so I can check on her, hug her and give her the jacket.
Then I went to the Lone Fir Cemetery because a girl I know was going to have an event there but it got cancelled due to the rain. I walked through the cemetary, the oldest tombstone I saw said 1833 on it. I am pretty sure that I want to be cremated, I have an idea how. Unless some other method comes along in the future that will change my mind. Like the mushroom burial suit or the mushroom coffin (already exists).
Then I did errands. Finally at 6 pm I ended up at Salty's for dinner. The apple galette was amazing. Here is a view from outside Salty's, that is the Columbia River, dividing Oregon and Washington.
After dinner while walking to my car I saw my breath when exhaling, it got cold. I think flip flop season is over.
