If you have the time and energy to read it, takes about a minute or two.
This annoys Tatiana to no end. Sweden used to be a rather peaceful place UNTIL they started accepting too many immigrants. It's a small country. Tatianas solution? Kick out the MF's that cause problems, it doesn't matter if they are Africans, Arabs, Polish, Jews, Muslims etc.....(we have them all in Sweden by now) if they can't be "normal" and peaceful, if they do dumb shit and if they don't want to learn how to speak Swedish for various stupid reasons, then they need to go back to where they came from. That's it. Tatiana moved to Sweden with her Mom from Poland, yes it is not the first time she mentions this fact in this blog. She knows the feelings associated with not knowing a language and being targeted for that, arriving somewhere new and foreign. No, it wasn't always easy (actually it was bad at times) BUT if all she would had done was cause problems in Sweden and spread negativity then why even be there?
Sweden is NOT a Muslim country and should NOT become a Muslim country, that would be awful. Neither is is a Jewish country. It is Sweden. Should be calm and peaceful.
There are way too many immigrants in Sweden causing big problems. Tatiana is just waiting for the Swedes to get pissed off and dig out those old dusty Viking helmets and weapons and start cleaning house. See, Swedes are by nature very calm but once they get mad, the old Viking in them wakes up and then you better run.
Tatiana is like a Polish/Swedish mix probably. Kind of hot tempered and feisty but at the same time calm. She thinks. It is not easy making judgements about oneself.

I can not agree more with this post and your conclusions toward the end. If people want to come here they should be willing to assimilate, learn the language and customs... and be law abiding and tax paying citizens... sure, they will have freedoms like all citizens here to practice their religious beliefs and customs but do not try to change my country to make it more like the one they left. Do not use our laws to impose their culture on us.... they should go back to their country if they are not happy with how we live and not happy with our life values and viewpoints.
Just 2 or 3 generations back my family ancestors were Scandinavian and Italian and they came here to become part of this country in just about every way but also they are indeed proud of their heritage and celebrating their ancestral roots with foods and traditions but they didn't force themselves and their beliefs on others.
Thank you for your posting.... even though it was written almost 7 years ago it is still most appropriate and relevant for what is going on today here in the USA, in Sweden and around the world.

I am hoping for Marine Le Pen in France 2017.
Carla on :
Ahhhh, YES.... Marine Le Pen, if elected, would be kind of like the "Trump" of France. Other countries in Europe are also on the cusp of electing more right wing leaders that recognize the dangers of unrestrained and illegal immigration.
From what I have read, Sweden"s Prime Minister Lofven and his cabinet people working the problem of unrestrained migration into Sweden by requiring identity checks and/or passport for everyone, not just Muslims, entering Sweden (especially on the Denmark border via the Oresund bridge.)
Prime Minister Lofven of Sweden's Social Democratic Party is in power until the new elections in 2019 ??? Are you satisfied with how he is doing his job in your home country of Sweden? Is he favored to be re-elected or is there a favorite successor and/or political party that you are most in favor of???
If you don't wish to answer these possibly sensitive questions via a reply comment you can send me an email instead. I am very interested in your thoughts and your feelings about all of this. Political Science and History have always be favorite subjects of mine and I try to stay up on important world affairs.
OH.... and again I am wishing you a blessed and very Merry Christmas.... Per our comments on your other recent postings I do hope that you don't Christmas alone with Cchaya... if i were nearer to you I would invite you to my Christmas Dinner (you would be "required" to bring a Swedish appetizer... perhaps Swedish Meat Balls?) On Christmas Eve a group of friends and I go to several Senior Retirement Homes to sing Christmas Carols and pass out small plates of goodies.... I think you would make a nice addition to our group !!!

Well, I am not too familiar with Lรถfven's political career but something needs to be done in Sweden and many people there feel the same way, therefore the Sweden Democrats are now the third largest party and might be a strong contender in the next election.
If I would to come to your Christmas dinner I would bring homemade apple pie, store bought Swedish ginger bread cookies and pierogis.
I think it is really nice that you go to retirement homes and sing!

Such sad news and terrible happenings lately.... thinking of the attacks in Berlin where people attending the Christmastime street market ... people with their families... were run down, run over and killed by a stolen big truck driving by a person suspected of being a terrorist. 12 people killed and 48 injured. So very sad, my heart is broken. ... and then the latest violence and bombings in Turkey... a very sad happening.
I am so upset by all of this and I am hoping that world leaders and future world leaders with confront these kinds of problems with intelligent and swift actions.
