Well here we are....the last month of the year has arrived. December 1 today. It IS true, time goes faster the older you get.
Sometimes (often actually to be honest) I think that death will be a reward. No more suffering here on earth. The only thing I am worried about is to die suddenly and leave behind pets. Yes....I think that life is "suffering" in different forms. Just like the Buddhist do.
I had a photo shoot today with professional lights and all. I did a shoot with Ann last year and we were so excited and thought we looked great. Then when we saw the pictures we could not believe how terrible both of us looked, like two haggard broads that seen better days. And Ann is 27 (now) and very pretty. I could understand if I looked like an old hag in the pictures but not Ann, she has a baby face still. We did not pick out a single picture from that shoot.
There were a few OK ones but only OK. Lighting is key. Bad lighting can make even a beautiful person look haggard unless you are a teenager.
Anyhow.....I have another shoot next weekend and supposedly they will paint my whole (?) body with glitter.
Today's shoot was about off the shoulder sweaters, drinking a hot beverage by the fire and being wrapped in white fabric. I hope I managed to get a few good ones. The people that took the pictures want to take more pictures of me and they paid well.
Afterwards I went grocery shopping. I felt cute cause I had mascara on today. See for yourself.
It was cold so I put my mรถssa on (Swedish for hat) and one of the guy's working at Trader Joe's saw it and started talking perfect Swedish with me. He spent 15 years in Sweden, he even pronounced Stockholm (my city) just like a Swede. Impressive!
I decided to make a new salad today, the Jennifer Aniston's Salad. Yeah....a bit of a weird name for a salad but it was absolutely delicious. So if you are in the mood for a delicious salad I highly recommend it! SO GOOD.
Of course I did not put any meat in the salad. And I did not use mint, not because I don't like mint. I was too lazy to look for it when I was grocery shopping. I used everything else.....quinoa, English cucumber, pistachios, garbanzo beans, red onion, feta cheese, parsley. The salad dressing was olive oil and lemon juice. I am planning on making this salad again on Saturday. I am already looking forward to it.
