I am trying new stuff, here are three new things for me. I love the Santa Cruz Organic drinks and Trader Joe's Organic, now I love the jalapeño one as well. I saw it at Trader Joe's the other day and since I like spicy stuff I had to give it a try.
I also like the Suja juices, I get them at Whole Foods. My fave is the Vanilla Cloud, today I tried Blue Dream and it was OK. With it I swallowed two BioSil capsules. Seriously, my hair is now thin. Long and thin = NO. It used to be thick and I have dug out so much hair from my tub drain the last couple of years that I am suprised I am not bald yet. I should had saved all those long strands and made them into hair extensions. So now I am going to try BioSil and see if a miracle happens. I am only on my third day so I can't say anything about it yet.
I actually had my blood checked in 2014 to see if my thyroid and other levels were fine because I started notice hair loss towards the end of 2013 but everything was normal. First I thought I had clogged up my hair follicles by slathering on coconut oil all over my hair and scalp a few times and left it in for over 24 hours. And that COULD be the case for the hair loss but I did the coconut oil thing in 2013 and I am still losing hair. Now I am thinking it might be the hair color brand I use. If you have been reading my blog for a while you know that I color my grey hair. I have been having grey hair since I was 18. There is a drawback to being highly intelligent and it is the curse (for me) of having grey hair.

There.....now you know about some new things I have tried in the last couple of days. Interesting huh? I'm going to play with my bored puppy now.

I hope your road trip is going well or are you back home and at work again this week?
I trust that you get your thin hair issues fixed. All the times that I have read your blog over the years I have always been jealous of your very beautiful and long hair. It is good that you got your blood checked, there are so many issues with all the various hormones our bodies produce and an imbalance can cause all kinds of various issues. If this keeps going on perhaps there is a specialist doctor or clinic that has expertise in this area,
I keep my hair at shoulder length and many times wear it up. I am naturally blonde and have not yet had to color my hair... it is still a golden blonde color and as of yet there are no gray hairs.... I know that one of these days I will get them.
I shower at least once a day, sometimes twice and I have been washing my hair with Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner for years and so far all is OK.
I am not quite the experimenter with organic and "strange" flavored drinks that you are.... I am happy with a V8 (or Orange Juice) and coffee in the morning, and no-fat milk on my cereal. I drink a lot of water during the day and I usually stay away from soda pop. My water at home is well-water and it is so good without high mineral content and without chemical that the city water supplies put in their water. I eat lots and lots of veggies and fruit. Many times my dinner will be a large salad with a wide assortment of ingredients and I make my own Italian Dressing with olive oil and other good things.
I try always to eat healthy BUT there are times that crave a Pizza, Cheeseburger, Hot Dog, French Fries and other fast foods.
As always, I am wishing you and Chhaya well.

But messing with your hair as in coloring, bleaching, blow drying, flat ironing etc will impact it. Best is to leave it alone I guess. I still have hair and strangers still come up to me and compliment my hair. Back in the day so many people would come up when I would go out that me and some of my friends would joke about it.....
I am going to see if the BioSil makes any difference.
Hugs to you Carla!
