Inauguration

Welcome to Chaos !!

Inauguration

Well...... inauguration for Donald John Trump today, the 45th President of the United States. (I know that technically you should write "President" with a lower case p but I think a capital P looks better.)
Many protests around the country, lots of confusion to who would perform or not perform at the inauguration. To make a 16 year old girl feel bad for singing at the inauguration shows what an idiot you are, period. This girl is showing more poise that many loudmouths out there that are supposedly adults. Are you moving to Canada yet? Bags packed or decided to stay and make the best of it?
Because staying and fighting for what you don't think is right would bring on a change if anything and remember the pen is mightier than the sword.
And actions speak louder than words.
The first four years of the 45th President have commenced......let's see what is going to happen. I don't think any one person can make everything great again in a country of so many because it is impossible to please everybody.
Just some snippets from the speech.....

"Today's ceremony, however, has very special meaning because today, we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people.
What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people."

"This American carnage stops right here and stops right now."

Who knows.....perhaps I will get deported, I am not a US citizen but if I go I will go to Sweden. I am no innocent angel and some people might look at me and say that I am bad but whatever......fuck'em.
Well......let's hope for a good future. The way I look at it.....humans including myself are greedy, selfish and full of fault. Some more than others. The way we are living, all the damage we are doing to this planet can not be sustained. I feel bad for the innocent - children and animals.

I love this posting of yours.... I can not agree more with all that you stated....

Oh yeah, what a shame that the 16 year old singer Jackie Evancho was rudely criticized.... she sang wonderfully and it was a terrific and fortunate opportunity for her and her future singing career. She was a shining light in the ceremony.

I am so disappointed with the destructive rioting that took place in Washington DC.... destroying personal and government property and causing bodily harm is not productive and will not endear those dissenters to anyone but themselves... their "message" is lost amidst the destruction they caused... peaceful protesting and peaceful marches are an acceptable right of expression in the USA but the violence is not acceptable and because the violence and destruction happened in Washington DC (not a state) those arrested will be facing Federal Charges... I hope they get the "book" thrown at them for their irresponsible and rioting criminal actions.

The entire ceremony, acceptance speech, and seeing President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence and their families was very heartwarming... all the women, especially the First Lady Melania Trump and also the President's daughter Ivanka Trump... looked absolutely stunning in their formal dresses and gowns.... and all the family members were all beautiful when they danced.

Please do not go back to Sweden... we need you here writing common sense stuff in your "addictive" blog. It is nice seeing your pictures and reading what is on your mind. I don't go a day without checking in!!!

Best wishes to YOU and Chhaya, 😍

I don't see what change or message people think they will bring across by demonstrating or protesting in violent and/or destructive ways but I might be missing something?

Well, let's hope that Trump stays alive for the next four or eight years or does not get impeached (you never know)......because Pence is a bit too much for my taste.
I am very LGBT friendly. If all people were created equal that means ALL people, even the not straight ones. And oh I am SO grateful for the non straight people for bringing so much joy and sparkle to the world. Thank You Ellen - I LOVE you!
I am also pro choice. Within reason of course. And I am very pro Planned Parenthood - they do a lot of good. I wish people in general could understand the meaning behind those words......PLANNED parenthood. And if it's not planned then do whatever you can to be a GREAT parent. I see and read too many horror stories on "parenting".
Poor kids, some of them don't even have a fighting chance.
