Well, this is it....2016 is coming to and end and 2017 is about to begin. I hope you feel good about that. If not, it's OK.....in a few weeks, even a few days, everything will be back to normal again.

In response to your opening paragraph... I indeed feel very good and very optimistic about the new year in 2017.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone who reads this.
I am staying inside today... last night and this morning we had 8 more inches of new snowfall on top of the 5 inches we already had on the ground. if there is more snow today and tomorrow that may delay the end of my school's winter break. I was supposed to go back to my teaching job on Tuesday January 3rd, but now that is questionable.
My propane fireplace insert is fired up, my coffee pot is full and I am planning to be a "vegetable" today reading and relaxing ... perhaps organizing my photo album.... and keeping cozy.
