How did I spend my last evening in Vegas? I hiked up Mountain's Edge. It's a very easy hike, anybody can do it and it's well worth it! If you want amazing views of Las Vegas plus surroundings and a great place for pictures, you should take a drive to Mountain's Edge park (actually Exploration Peak park), it's not that far from the Strip either. Located on Blue Diamond and Buffalo. Go a bit before sunset, you can watch the sun go down and see the Strip light up, GORGEOUS!
I sat there and watched the sun go down.....felt sad because I knew I was getting on an airplane in a few hours and said thank you to Vegas, I had a great time on this trip. I am like that, I say thank you to all kinds of things, animals, nature, the sun, the moon, the food I eat etc. That's how I am, I am very grateful for everything that I have and get to experience.
Here is a pic from a previous outing to Mountain's Edge, I dragged Julia up there that afternoon. I recommend that you go up to the top twice, no rest, you will feel a nice burn in your thighs and get a little sweaty, a great spot for burning off some calories and enjoy the view.
