Retail Therapy

Welcome to Chaos !!

Retail Therapy

Although tired and in need of sleep I could not fall asleep this evening, I guess I'm too wired or something. So I headed out for some retail therapy, nothing like going to the malls here in Vegas, that always makes me feel better. I did not find much though.....but I did get a new eyeshadow from MAC. And an ice blended coffee from the Coffee Bean to sip on while shopping.

I was looking forward to see the new stuff at Victorias's Secret, especially hoping to find a new pretty bra but no, no bra screamed my name. I did get a white long shirt/tunic with fringes.
It looks a bit hippie.....perfect for Burning Man. I also saw a black full piece bathing suit that looked super sexy, reminded me of a Bond Girl bathing suit but they only had it in a Large, need to look for my size in another Victoria's Secret store.

I always sample Teavana, love it.

Besides the retail therapy and being tired I feel kind of sad. The first few days in Vegas, when I come back here are always bittersweet for me. Being here brings back so many memories, I've had so much fun in this town but it's over now. Sometimes I have a difficult time with things being over and done with and I tend to dwell on the past. When I drove past where Utopia used to be earlier I teared up, I will never again come out of Utopia into the bright Vegas sunshine after closing the club down. Thinking about that place feels weird.
I remember how excited I used to be driving along Las Vegas Blvd knowing I had a night of dancing and great music ahead of me.....no more! It feels like yesterday although it's been years. The reality that I will never go out with my friends here again like we used to several times a week feels sad......BOHOOOOO we used to have so much FUN.....! So I am feeling weird and sad tonight. Maybe I should start practicing yoga so I can feel better about certain things? Just a thought that struck me tonight.
