Unexpected

When I got to work yesterday one of my co workers gave me this.....! I have to say it was very unexpected since we haven't had the smoothest relationship in the past although lately it has improved. Not sure what her motive is for doing this, perhaps it's as simple as....."just because". That's why I give stuff to people anyways. I love the travel bag, she said she knows I travel a lot and hopes it will come in handy (it will). Then when I looked at it I noticed it says "FABULOUS" on the bottom so that made me love it and I love the pink tassel also.
The chocolate I gobbled up right away. I've been eating a lot of chocolate lately, more than usual.

I did not even go on stage last night, we did not do much of anything besides talk and laugh.
I found out that I am Clay's (the dj's) freebie and I am also his girlfriends freebie. What? I'm her freebie too? I'm flattered. And blushing. LOL.
Then Grady came in.....our friend that's part of the furniture in the club. He has an iPad and I played around with the camera on it. Here are the results, of course I was taking pictures of myself with it, what else? Here are two.

Now I have to get out of bed and do something productive. Not sure what yet. Getting a latte will be productive. That's a good start. There is a typhoon moving towards Alaska right now, Typhoon Nuri. It's not going to wreck any havoc here on the Kenai Peninsula according to what I've read, more around the Aleutian Islands, there are actually people living on those islands, like in Adak. I hope they will be OK. How scary to be on a small island with a typhoon approaching causing monster waves.

Facial Massage

I am a massage lover and a spa lover. In my dream existence I would have one long luxurious and nourishing facial/week, two massages/week and one foot reflexology session/week.
I believe you can keep your skin beautiful by getting regular and quality (of course) facials and your body healthy by getting massages. A while back I wrote about pedicures, that there are places that actually deliver an expert pedicure.....a meticulous one. Not the sloppy "cutting a bit of cuticle, rubbing some lotion on your calves and feet for a couple of minutes and slapping on two layers of polish" places and then you are done and out the door. I have, after some searching found one lady that's OK here in this village....I said OK, not great.
Another thing I am very particular about are my facials. I've had some BAD ones and then I found Anastassia in Anchorage (after somebody recommended her to me). Anastassia is a Russian lady, from my personal experiences Russians and Hungarians are the best schooled in the art of aesthetics.....because it is an ART. And not everybody has the talent, even after they finish whatever school they paid for to get some diploma. That's why I've had so many bad facials, because whoever carried them out sucked at it, despite all the hours spent in school. Anastassia gives an AMAZING facial massage (although she is lazy sometimes and skips it), I mean it's amazing. She has the touch and talent, I would visit her more often if I could (it's too far). I recently came across some articles about facial massages in a magazine. They list some places world wide that are known for their facial massages, of course they mention a spa in Budapest, Los Angeles (I might have to go there next time I visit), New York and Tokyo. I mean, how often when you get a facial does the esthetician give you a long and thorough facial massage? Not often. I've had that done two places, at Anastassia's and Aida Thibiant in Los Angeles and I've had facials all over the US.
Speaking of skin care, I have been using L'Occitane cremes for years, their Immortelle day cream and night cream and I love them. But a while ago I discovered Eminence. An all organic line, originally from Hungary. So far I have only tried a body lotion, Honeydew and it's fantastic and this bamboo face masque. It smells so good and I like it. I might have to invest in some other products like a day and night cream to mix it up with the L'Occitane. And when I had the masque on my face I just had to take a selfie only to show everybody what I look like with a masque on my face!

Dump and Marijuana

I went to the dump today.....super exciting huh? I had some trash to throw away and some batteries to put in the recycle bin. Chhaya loves going there, that means she will get a treat upon leaving the dump. The dump gate attendant (or whatever they are called) always has a treat for her and she knows this and starts salivating even before the treat is visible.
Chhaya acts like she never gets treats, although her life is all about good food, treats, cuddles and doing stuff. After the dump we went to Arc Lake and walked around it twice. I was curious to see whether I would hear any weird sounds by throwing rocks on the ice. I threw several but nothing happened, in fact the lake was rather quiet today. Those eerie sounds I heard last time I went there were almost non existent, I only heard the lake sound off twice.

When I was leaving a car had parked next to mine and two chicks were busy smoking weed. So.....speaking of marijuana. Alaska voted yesterday and marijuana is now legal here in the 49th state. More and more states are joining in on legalizing marijuana. I don't smoke weed, I've tried it a few times and I don't like it. It makes me sick, I think it's the inhaling the smoke, it's too much like smoking a cigarette and that is just gross to me. On the other hand I have tried brownies a few times (like three times) and liked that, although the last time I had a brownie it was way too potent and I got really high, couldn't move, stayed in bed laughing and then threw up. Yeah. And I also have these candies in my possession, Mountain High Suckers they are called. I found them at Burning Man the other year and I only ate a few but they are tasty and fun, yet again.....I just laughed. I guess I'm saving them for a future fun occasion.

Everybody has their own opinions about drugs and whether they should become legal or not. I say legalize everything because people do it anyways. I have tried all kinds of drugs and I have never developed anything remotely close to a drug problem or a habit. I even work in a strip club and I don't drink/do drugs/smoke and if I was to do drugs I certainly wouldn't waste a good time at work. I personally do not believe that marijuana is a gateway drug. Absolutely there need to be laws regarding driving under the influence, working while high etc. But people all over the place drive, and go to work etc under the influence of either alcohol, weed, some other drug legal or prescription. I would never want to get high every day, I enjoy my life very much sober. I'm not trying to run away from any problems or mask some negative feelings, I enjoy waking up without a hangover. But on the other hand I want to be able to enjoy my drug/s of choice when I want to, in a responsible way of course. I'm an adult and I think I can make rather informed decisions regarding any possible drug use I might indulge in. Trust me, I have studied the drugs I have done or am interested in doing.
I guess the proposed price for an ounce of weed here in Alaska is going to be $50. I don't know if that's reasonable, I've never bought weed before but if some of that money is going toward taxes and something good will come out of it, like financing anything the public uses like infrastructure, schools, parks - then I think it's a good thing. People have been smoking weed anyways before it became legal.....now it's legal and maybe something good will come out of it. Times change, people and their thinking patterns evolve. I don't need Big Brother to barrage me with scare tactics about the evils of drugs because I do not believe in that anyways. I think certain plants make you open up your eyes, if you are willing to take that step, I certainly want to evolve as a person. Alcohol and cigarettes everybody knows are rather bad. I have not seen much positive come out of people smoking cigarettes and getting drunk and that's legal. What's positive about smoking cigarettes? Nothing. And what's good about getting wasted on booze or beer on a regular basis? I can't think of much. It's a personal choice. You decide yourself how you want to live your life and you will reap the rewards of your lifestyle and actions, or not.

Problems

People have fucking problems. What is WRONG with some of them? I'm reading about that sick freak Joran Van der Sloot (even the name is disgusting) and that he might have been stabbed in the Peruvian prison he is doing time in for murdering a young girl. Most likely he murdered another too and maybe others but so far only one victim is known for sure.
So yeah.....I'm reading that he might have been stabbed.....like booooohooooo poor Joran, next time somebody should stab him fatally in his crotch and let him bleed to death.
And while reading about this I learn that some dumb woman decided that she had to marry this murderer and became pregnant by him. I don't know how old she is and if she already had the baby, all I know is that she has some serious issues. What? Is there a shortage of men out there? Good pick for a father, fantastic! Fun for the child growing up. One great example of a human being making an extremely poor choice in picking who to reproduce with.
She should not be allowed to have any more children, she obviously has some serious issues. What the fuck.....I'd rather be single and without sex for the rest of my life than to have kids with some guy doing time for murdering women.
One more thing while I'm typing away and feeling motivated. What is up with young girls and women joining, or wanting/trying to join ISIS? Like non Muslim women willing to convert and travel to wherever ISIS is holding down fort.....Iraq and Syria I guess. Is your life so shitty that you want to join an inhumane terrorist group like ISIS? Why? So you can be pawned off to some man that will use you as a breeding cow and discard you when he is done with you? Maybe stone you or slit your throat the day you say or do something that he does not like or when you start being a nuisance to him? Really now? Wake the fuck up! I have NO words for ISIS and people that approve of any kind of behavior like that or similar to that. Torture, rape? Beheading innocent journalists and aid workers on camera? Yea, I watched some of it......made me sick and very very sad. How can you do something like that to an innocent person? How? It makes me want to scream......HOW, explain to me! I don't even know why ISIS is roaming free and at large still. Putin should gear up and drop some bombs on them, seriously now Putin. Get started already! I know Putin if anyone has the balls to do it.
Maybe ISIS should capture a Russian, perhaps Putin will take action then. Convert or die? There is no room on this planet for "people" that believe in and practice such stuff.
OK......one last thing and then I'm done. Irresponsible assholes that are supposed to be in quarantine because there might be a chance they have Ebola. But instead they go about their business like getting on the subway, flying, going out to eat.....whatever they have to do just because they are SELFISH. Stay the fuck in quarantine until the time is up. Thank you. If you can't do that then do not work with Ebola patients. Pick some other profession. This whole Ebola thing is crazy. Duncan's family seem to be delusional, complaining about the treatment he received at the hospital here in the US. Really? Not good enough? I'm sure he would had received top notch treatment in whatever country he came from in Africa, maybe he would had still been alive if he would had stayed there, don't you think? Instead he chose to fly here and put a bunch of people at risk for Ebola. I would had been livid if I was one of the health workers subjected to having to treat him. If you come here from another country and don't like the health care, school system, local language, that women have rights, whatever it is that you might have a major problem with......do yourself and everybody else a favor.....consider going back to where you came from if things are so much better there. Yes, you can complain and bring up topics to discuss....society always has room for improvements but if things are so bad here in the US and all you do is complain.....well fuck.....leave then. Or do something good and work for positive changes, don't just sit around and complain.
And maybe people in some places in Africa should consider eliminating certain things like human beings and apes from their diet. I don't know how Ebola came about exactly, I'm not a doctor or a medical student but there are certain things you just don't eat. I don't care how hungry you are.....eat fruit or maggots, SOMETHING besides human flesh and/or monkeys/apes that we are supposedly closely related to. There is a reason for that not supposed to be part of our diet. Just like there is a reason for why we should not reproduce with a close relative. I can understand certain circumstances like that plane crash in 1972, the Andes flight disaster. Those people ate the perished to survive.....or they would had died.
But to practice cannibalism in this day and age because......well, what IS the reason? You just fancy the taste of human flesh or do you believe it will do something amazing for you to eat brains, like increase your stamina or libido or some lame beliefs like that? What? If I EVER visit any African country I'm eating grain, fruits and vegetables only. That I pick myself.
They served human meat and brains in some restaurant there recently, it was on the menu.
No wonder we have diseases like Ebola, it's some kind of a mutant sickness. BARF! Disgusting.

Why would anyone willingly eat this? I firmly believe that a lot of our diseases stem from eating too much meat. Absolutely. People that need meat, think they need meat everyday (because they are brain washed) are kind of gross to me. Chomping down on a bloody steak.....YUCK.

Lara Croft and Kitty Cat

Phew......I finally went through and picked out (for here) all my Halloween pics and I took many. So Friday (Halloween) I got to work and only two girls were dressed in costumes (and pretty boring ones too) so I did not feel any kind of Halloween spirit at all. And at the beginning of the night the vibe in the club was negative but that changed later on. I too changed, after a while I decided on Lara Croft. It was so smokey in the club and I did not want to wear the other costumes because of that. I can hand wash the Lara Croft outfit quickly.
In real life that costume looks bad ass, the pics do not do it justice (lights and camera quality play a part too). People loved it OF COURSE! (Sharon almost fell of her chair when she saw me). What's not to like.....? It's Lara Croft!

Saturday night it was still Halloween for me, in Vegas it's Halloween weekend and that's how I do it too. I don't care about what anyone else thinks.....obviously. So I went as a kitty cat.
So simple but yet very cute. Black paint, cat ears and gloves with my own twist. I suspect it's one of the more popular and common costumes for girls on Halloween, I was popular anyways.....

I got home to a sleeping Chhaya, she couldn't care less about me and my selfies. I washed off my cat nose and whiskers and went to bed. I love dressing up (or down).....Halloween is so much fun!

Beat

After today's walk and a huge meal I am beat and ready for bed. Earlier today when I was outside and feeling all energized I thought I would make it to work tonight. No. This evenings plans have changed. Instead of platform heels and a bra and panties I will go upstairs, fill up the tub with hot water and add a generous amount of the Tired Old Ass bath salts. Then I'm going to put a mask on my face and most likely be sleeping shortly after that. This sounds like what my Sunday evening has in store for me.
