Welcome to Chaos !!

The sun is slowly coming up here in Vegas and I'm going to bed. Very tired but feeling good, went to work tonight. It was decent, I did better than last night even though last night was a Saturday and the club was busier than tonight but that doesn't matter sometimes, you just never know.
If you want to work as a dancer in Vegas you need a business license ($200) and a sheriffs card aka work card, required in NV for certain employment positions , which costs money too (of course) before any club (at least that I'm aware of) will hire you. Or you can try Chicas Bonitas or perhaps Babes Cabaret and see if you might be able to get away without the business license and sheriffs card perhaps. You need to show proof that you are eligible for work in the US and besides that you don't need much else besides some heels and an outfit/bikini or two. It's easy.
You check into work at some clubs by your fingerprint. It's like checking into the office in the morning.

But I need to go to sleep now, my eyes are closing on themselves. I need to replenish my energy with some rest.

I got recognized at work tonight......a girl came up to me and asked if I have a blog. Her name is Colette and she told me that she read all my Williston entries and that she ended up going there to work and liked it. It's a pretty cool feeling when I get recognized by a complete stranger that has been reading my stuff, it's not the first time either.
I am SOOO tired, it's exhausting to work in Vegas. I now remember how tired I used to be when I worked here back in the day. I'm going to take a shower now and then enjoy sleeping to the fullest.

After looking for a new bra to add to my collection I finally decided on one today. I have all kinds.....pink, black, blush, grey, cream, multi colored, blinged out but no blue bra. Until today. The blue stands out more when it's on. They opened up a new Victoria's Secret at the Fashion Show mall, complete with the more upper end collection and large screens with the VS models on the catwalk - I like that. So this is the new bra.



I'm now addicted to Sambalatte, especially if I get latte art in my cup.



I also love my new bag with all the charms I attached to it, I have been decorating my purses and bags for years now.



Also addicted to the vegetarian burrito at Cafe Rio. And their mint lemonade. So YUMMY!

Today I spent the afternoon at the mall with Julia. Started off the mall outing right with some ice blended vanilla coffees from Coffee Bean.



There is a BRITNEY store at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood for all you Britney fans out there. Me and Julia ❤ Britney, so we were in there oooohhh-ing and aaaahhhh-ing and fawning over all the mega size posters of our Britney looking pretty and fabulous.
We saw her in concert a long time ago and we would like to see her latest show at Planet Hollywood.....but I guess she is on a break now.

I'm back home now, exhausted. I walk so much here and do things basically non stop, except for when I'm sleeping. No more Kenai chunk.....back to looking like an anorexic Vegas stripper on meth.

OK, so I recently went in for a thyroid test and a few days ago I went in again to get a basic check up panel done. I have not been to the doctor in a very long time and Julia convinced me that I needed to get this done. She had to come with me again, since I am scared of needles. This time they actually took three vials of blood and it seemed to take forever, I was very close to passing out. Julia made me listen to some music while my body was being emptied on blood. It was awful but it's done now. And guess was? Clean bill of health. The thyroid stuff, TSH, T4 and T3 are all in range (for the knowledgeable professional readers I have, like Annette). And my blood work came back all in range. I am healthy. And we did my blood pressure and heart rate twice. I was told that people would pay to get my results, the staff at the lab said I am in athlete shape and that my heart is as healthy as somebody in high school! Even I have to say -WOW.....! I guess it pays off to be an "anorexic stripper"!





The staff at AnyLabTestNow were wonderful and took good care of me and my needle phobia. Me and Julia got them a thank you card and some nice chocolates and that was much appreciated. I am very grateful to be healthy. I know the value of this.

I had a great day today, started out with a latte from Sambalatte then I went to Sunset park for a walk and a run. The weather was great, kind of windy and chilly and I felt really happy and very ALIVE! I love my life right now.





This evening I had dinner at Grimaldi's with my friends Mike and Mikey. We used to live together here in Vegas, so we caught up on the latest and laughed at our memories. We have so many memories from those days, awwwww.......I'm feeling all nostalgic now.
It's kind of cold out and it rained earlier. I'm on the couch feeling cozy.
