I spent the whole day in Anchorage yesterday. I got up really early to be able to make it in time for my 9 am facial with Anastassia. I ended up being 20 minutes late, kind of unusual for me because I'm usually on time for my appointments but I discovered that the roads were really slick while driving, I slid out pretty bad and almost had a heart attack. So I had to put the truck in 4 wheel drive and slow down a bit. Better to be a bit late than not get there at all. The facial was really good as always, Anastassia has a great touch. She got certified to do some new peels and I am thinking I might try another peel, something with apple and lotus.
It will make your skin peel off for up to a week after the procedure. I did a green peel a while back and it was nothing special, besides that it hurt and I peeled but this apple and lotus peel is supposedly better. So I might try that. Why not? I like facials and going to the spa.
Later on I met with Kennedy for some QUALITY friend time. Every time I meet up with her I leave feeling better. We always have the best conversations and she is so wise and has the best advice in case I need it. Kennedy is the best! I wish we lived close to each other.
We ate at Bombay Deluxe, we both LOVE Indian food and we both love spicy food. I had the vegetable korma which was delicious, naan of course and a mango lassi. Maybe one day I will go to India to marvel at that country, seems very interesting and amazing and the food is just scrumptious.
