I arrived in Anchorage....but I still have one more plane to catch, to Kenai and that one leaves in FOUR hours. Fun times!
The connections are not the best, if you come in late to Anchorage and have a connecting flight to somewhere else in Alaska - you will have
to wait until early morning to catch your next plane.
Of course my checked bag is on an adventure somewhere between Williston and here. Great. The person that filled out the missing bag report
asked me about the contents of the bag in case they had to open it.......you know the usual, two pairs of really high heels covered in rhinestones,
a bunch of bra's and panties, toiletries.......I am just hoping to get my bag back with all that's in it.
Since I wrote about that some express disbelief to that I live in Alaska, like you need to be a hunter and gatherer or some kind of a large,
tough guy to live in Alaska.....I should write about "my accent".
To me I sound just like everybody else but obviously to everybody else, I don't - lol.
I can't hear the accent and yes, it is supposedly still very present. Really? But some people think that I fake it. LOL. Like I would walk around every
night, faking an accent to appear more "interesting" or "exotic". Spare me, I do not get paid enough to even bother. Maybe if I had Angelina Jolie's
annual income. Or even Zooey Deschanel's.
I am one of the least fake dancers you will ever come across, there is not much pretense with me, you get what you see.
No fake compliments, promises or anything like that. I am not sure what the accent sounds like, probably more Swedish than Polish.
And why do I still have an accent? I get asked that too, how the heck am I supposed to know? It's not like I am paying some voice coach to
get rid of it. I still talk to my Mom and my friends in Sweden. And go back for visits.
