I'm Vain - 8

The other night I was going through some of my cd's with pics from photo shoots that I have made, quite a task, lots of cd's and thousands of pics. Some of the pics I was hoping to use for the blog.......when I first started this blog in 2006 I had a different idea in mind for the concept but I like what I am doing with it now way more than the original idea. That would not had worked anyway in hindsight. So I might as well put up some of the pics from some of the old shoots here, since that was the intention anyways.
Let's start with this one. I got contacted by the photographer, as with most of my shoots. He had an idea and some costumes he wanted me to pose in. Girl scout, wedding dress and anime. The agreement was that I was going to get a certain amount of images that I picked out for me to keep. Well, he never kept his end of the bargain. Therefore I can only put up pics from the shoot that have "RAW PROOF" stamped all over them, the images are not cropped or retouched in any kind of way as you can see. These are the only pics I have, basically a half finished product. But whatever, they are still cute and kind of funny. Also, I was the first one of his models (he claimed) that could zip that wedding dress all the way up. Huh? I don't know what larger size girls he had worked with in the past, that dress wasn't even that small.
One thing that I have a very hard time with is people that don't keep their promises, whether they flake or flat out lie because they have bad intentions from the start.
Or borrow something from me and then do not give it back, whether it is money or an item. Unfortunately I have met too many people like that. But I have learned my lesson, I am not borrowing anything to anyone anymore. You need money? Go to the bank. And with photographers, so far two didn't deliver - both prime examples of douche bags thinking that they are something special. Well, they can go and sit on a spiky cactus. They should hope they never run into me somewhere because I will rip them a new one. Let's see if they will feel so high and mighty then. The thing with me is that I am not scared to confront anyone face to face if I think they deserve it, especially if they did me wrong. It is easy to send nasty e mails, text messages or play the ignoring somebody game. I am not scared of confrontation, at all.
Having said that, here are the pics.

I decided to stay home this Saturday night. My laziness took over but I have also been feeling cold all day, tired and I'm not in the mood to breathe in cigarettes tonight. So instead I started going through some of my pics. I have thousands. To pick out only a few is a project. I have done many shoots with Barry Gallegos, I like many of the pics we got. Do a search for his name in my blog's searchbar to see some of them. One of my fave pics that Barry took is this one. I think it is bad ass and that I look like a super hero.

Photographer Barry Gallegos What I am hoping to do in the future is some faerie or mermaid style pics. More outside pics with waterfalls, lakes, the ocean, large trees, dramatic scenery like a flat landscape and a big sky, sunsets........stuff like that. But now I am going to drink tea, have some cheese and crackers and watch SNL.

The sun is out and shining today! I have lots of energy and in a bit I am going to take Chhaya for a walk and then I am going to work on some projects around the house. I love getting things done and some days are great for that - like today!
I don't have a lot to write about right now, check back later. If I stay home tonight I will probably write a blog later......cause I know that YOU NEED!

Photographer KANE

It's a little after 6 pm and I just walked in the door, had a bunch of errands to do all over town today. Went to the post office to send off my Mom's birthday gift (Happy Birthday Mamma) and some Valentine's Day cards to friends and only that in itself is time consuming......the post office. Now I can sit down and write a quick entry then I have to feed Chhaya and fix something to eat for myself (maybe pancakes AGAIN, yum), get in the shower and go to work.
Well.......what I want to touch on a bit this evening is the misconception that seems to be existing in this small, narrow minded and gossipy town that all dancers are UGLY, disease ridden and overall some no good people. That kind of goes for dancers everywhere since I have danced in quite a few places. HA! Well, to settle that matter here and now you can see for yourself that a dancer can be ok looking........
Many of them are pretty, many are average and many of them are not. Kind of like people everywhere you know?

It is very easy to sit anonymously behind a computer screen and spew out your jealous hate and insecurities and misconceptions. I have a feeling that many of the women that do that might look something like this . And I don't even look like that on a VERY bad day. LOL. But more on this subject tomorrow, if I have the time.

And since I can't read any Russian I have no clue what this site is about......And in case you do not know what I look like.......my pic is number 7. Besides that, I am kind of tired. The daylight lingers around longer and that's nice.
Me and Chhaya went for a long walk in the fresh snow this afternoon. I have to get ready for work soon.

Sometimes it feels like I am living out of a suitcase. Once again I am at the airport......another work trip ahead of me, two weeks this time.
It's warmer to where I am going so that will be nice. So no winter jacket in my luggage. I was taking my annual Christmas pictures outside today and it was sooooo cold, I was only outside for maybe ten minutes but my fingers got so frozen they hurt when I got back inside.
I am still not disclosing where I am going. You have to check back tomorrow.
Three airplanes and a long journey. About to board soon. More of my adventures tomorrow at some point.

Photographer ?

I was watching the Victoria's Secret fashion show before I left for the airport. Justin Bieber is getting kind of cute! But Rihanna stole the show, she was the most beautiful. My number 1 girl crush! She has surpassed Ellen. Rihanna, if you read this......(lol) call me!
As far as the show.......cute as always, though I can't possibly justify the need to create and flaunt a bra worth 2.5 million. That is stupid in so many ways. It's not attractive at all.
