Tatiana lied to a stranger today.......and afterward she spent a few minutes fretting over it in her head, she felt a little bad, but she thinks it was a white lie.
A girl walked up to Tatiana's car, right when she was about to exit it and get some stuff from the store. This was in a large parking lot.
The girl wanted to sell Tatiana something, she held a large cereal box or something similar to that in her arm and and had a button that said "Jesus" on it attached to her shirt. Tatiana did not want to buy anything, she did not want this girl to waste 5 minutes or so, trying to convince Tatiana to buy whatever she was selling.........so Tatiana blurted out, "Sorry, I just have a debit card". Though of course she had cash. Tatiana did just not want to waste this girls time. White lie? Yes? Ok?
Tatiana thinks it was better this way. The girl was really sweet and Tatiana wishes her good luck, since Jesus is involved too.
Maybe next time, if Tatiana sees her again, she should coach her a little. Like, don't spend any time trying to convince people to buy anything from you, that's a waste of energy.
Just say, "YOU NEED" with confidence and a smile. Or just a, "YES!?" and nod your head and smile. Or to change it up a little, kick the person on the leg, or the chair or the couch they are sitting on, that's what Tatiana does. It always works!

Today was laundry day, Tatiana does not have a washer and dryer at the house here in Alaska. So, she just has to go to the laundromat once in a while. Tatiana thinks that laundromats are a little creepy, you do your laundry after some stranger just had their dirty clothes in that same machine. Kind of yucky, really.
Tatiana always sniffs out the machine she is about to use and if it's stinky she picks a different one. She tries not to put too much thought into this.
After all it's not the end of the world, she can deal with it temporarily. At her house in Vegas, she has a washer and dryer, but not here.
The girl working at the laundry place said she liked Tatiana's shirt. It's Juicy and it says "Juicy Flower Child". After all, Tatiana is a neo hippie.
When the laundry was done, Tatiana went to the bakery and got a chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled donut, sooooooo yummy!
A pastry a day keeps the doctor away!

That means.......by the way......back in business.
That's right, Tatiana is back in business and it feels great. You can only sit around the house and "do nothing" for so long. Not that Tatiana just sits around and stares at the tv, though she does that too. There's sleep, Chhaya, cleaning, organizing, laundry, plucking eyebrows, chasing ingrown hairs, eating pastries, obsessing over eyelash growth.....you know, STUFF.
But now it's time to throw some work into the mix. Work is good.
Last night somebody asked Tatiana "What are you doing here, you should be in Playboy". Tatiana answered "I don't want to have sex with Hugh Hefner".
She also heard "you long legged BEAST". That was a first and Tatiana started laughing, fun stuff.
Playboy is for girls around 20, pretty girls, that have to understand that being a Playmate also includes extra work at the Playboy Mansion, and that can mean lot's of different things. Or for a celebrity of some sort, that is willing to be in Playboy for various reasons to get some publicity. Usually not an A-lister, but sometimes.
Tatiana loves Playboy, the pictures are usually very nice and flattering. Nothing wrong with appearing in Playboy.
Actually, a long time ago, Tatiana was "Sexy Girl Next Door" Playboy online, for a whole week! And the week after, her friend Shelley held the title.
WOOOHOOOO!!!!! Bragging rights! LOL.

The other day Tatiana read somewhere that rice water is good for hair. Really, she thought. Interesting. And decided to try it.
So tonight after the shampoo, she poured two large mugs of rice water she had prepared by cooking some rice earlier, into her hair, put it up and sat with the rice water in her hair for about 30 minutes before rinsing it out. Meanwhile she also slathered on some of that clay mask on her face, the Aveda one.
Tatiana has also been putting on Latisse on her lashes for about a week now, mind as well use it up, since she got the Latisse......back in October.
So the rice water supposedly makes the hair really soft. Tatiana is going to see if this works. And if it does, she is going to repeat the process tomorrow.
The Latisse, after weeks of faithful application, supposedly makes the lashes longer, darker and thicker. Tatiana is already bored with the Latisse but she is going to use up the bottle, since it's miniscule anyways, but she does not think that she will invest in any more Latisse. Unless, of course, her lashes just become absolutely amazing or something. Then it might be worth the effort of putting on some weird chemical on your lash line every night.
Back in the day, in Sweden, Tatiana used to do all kinds of beauty rituals at home, tiredlessly. Steam baths for the face, infused with chamomile or other herbs. Masks for the face, at least twice a week. A favorite was beaten egg white. Now Tatiana slowed down on the rituals. Not as many as before. She has not done a face steam at home in forever but she should, that's really for cleaning the skin.........Tatiana got lazy!
Though she could easily go for a facial, pedicure and a massage about once a week. If somebody else performs the service on her.

Tatiana did not watch the "House Wives Of Orange County" and "House Wives of Atlanta" until she came back to Alaska recently. So she has been watching these shows once in a while for the last month now. Marveling at these aging bimbos and their antics.
Are these "ladies" serious? These shows are great examples of that money does NOT buy you class, obviously. Sure it's television and entertainment and probably lot's of it is exaggerated but some of it is not.
Do these ladies not know that bragging about your money and stuff is so noveau riche and sooooo tacky? Half of them don't have what they pretended to on the shows anyway, they have been evicted and their houses and nice cars taken away from them.
Anyone can buy stuff on credit, it's not fully yours until it's paid off anyway.
Like Tatiana, she used to have a condo in Vegas that went into foreclosure, due to her decision. Thank goodness for that. That was just the worst headache ever. Being a home owner sucks. It's totally overrated, a pain in the ass and Tatiana wishes that she never ventured down that road. At the time it seemed like a great idea, many people in Vegas made nice little profits on buying then selling their homes BUT then the real estate market crashed. Big time.
Tatiana decided to walk away from that condo and that was a GOOD idea. Looking back Tatiana made many uneducated decisions and trusted people that pretended to have her best interest at heart, when all they really wanted was to make some money for themselves. Like real estate agents and shady loan people.
Tatiana will forever be wary of real estate agents, especially sweaty, pig looking ones with cocaine habits. LOL.
But back to the house wives..........since Tatiana recovered well from this condo deal anyway in the end.......
Another thing.........obvious fake boobs paraded around in tank tops everywhere are so 90's, even if you live in sunny Orange County.
Take the double D's out already, especially if you are in your 40's (or an old looking 30 Something). It's just kind of sad looking. You can replace that large implant with a smaller size or cover up a little. If the implants have that hard, obvious implant look, they should always be covered up. Always. Because that is a bad boob job and it looks cheap and ugly. Boobs should look soft and inviting. There is nothing wrong with big boobs......but if they are always on display, unless you are working in a strip club, then there are issues going on, like low self esteem and that is so not sexy.
Another thing Tatiana noticed is that most of these ladies look at least 10 years older than they say they are. Even with all that botox. Like Kim on "House Wives of Atlanta". Born 78? Really? She looks like an older chunky transvestite. Claims to botox injections on a regular basis since she was 24. Wow. No signs of that at all.
Kim looks way older. Usually a bad wig will aid to that. Like a large, too blonde wig. Too much cakey make up and some overly tanned leather skin. Or some bad fillers in the face.
She should do some laser treatments instead of botox and that goes for many of these ladies.
Tatiana hopes that these shows act like an example of how NOT to be and look. Just another great example of that a little less goes a long way.

Tatiana just read this about some elephants that have been killed......

"An elephant named Marani was shot to death in October. A second shooting death came in February. Two others were killed last month, including one suspected shooting death and one death caused by a snare.

Douglas-Hamilton described the agony of the last death, after a team member hiked through thick mountain terrain and through two gorges to find the starved corpse.

"She had been snared with a big rope round her leg and was tied to a tree," he said. "In her last days she had thrashed around and flattened the vegetation, but he found her emaciated. She must have died of lack of food and water."

Susie Weeks, who lives near the 17,057-foot (5,199-meter) mountain for her work with The Mount Kenya Trust, said the region is "rife" with snares and traps. She said ivory poaching began on the mountain in 2009 and has steadily increased.

"Although the snares seem to be laid for smaller game, like buffalo, we find dead elephant calves in these brutal and indiscriminate traps, and amputated or snared calves wondering around with serious infections they cannot possibly survive," she said."

SO MEAN! Sometimes Tatiana just loathes the human race. People are so mean, so selfish. There are days when Tatiana just loves life and being alive but then she gets reminded of certain things, like this for example and she gets snapped back to the harsh reality of how shitty people really are.
In every aspect. Loyalty. Friendship. Violence. The list is never ending. It's not often that you meet a nice person anymore it seems.
Tatiana got rid of some nasty people from her own life not too long ago.......selfish, nasty, envious, liars and she is very happy not to considered them friends anymore.
They were not worthy of her friendship anyway, looking back at things. But it's ok. That's life. And Tatiana is more concerned for these elephants and all other animals that get mistreated than these individuals she is no longer friends with anyways.
Poor elephants! It is so awful that this is happening! Tatiana loves animals. They are beautiful and innocent.
