I went away, both from the blog and in reality. I needed to go to Las Vegas for a quick one week trip and take care of some stuff. In that seven day span I was so busy that I was too tired in the evening to go and have my much longed for massage with Kathy. No massage this time around.....but I got A LOT done and accomplished so that feels good. I took some cool pics on the drive through Nevada but they are on a different phone so I need to get them transferred first before I can put them up here on the blog. See the night before my Vegas trip a real moron opened up (uninvited of course may I say) the passenger door on my car and took my phone. After trying to "talk" to me first. Fucking disgusting piece of shit lowlife. Anyhow, I can be extremely determined and persistent if I decide to be, so of course I had that scumbag tracked down. Meanwhile I was without my phone the whole Vegas trip, instead I had to work with an ancient flip phone. Better than sending smoke signals, those take too long.



I can't even recall those days, the days of the flip phone pre smartphone. To make a long story short, once I got back "home" I got my phone back. I had the option to have the scumbag arrested but since I don't have time to waste on inbred morons I decided against it. On a few stipulations, if my memory card with my photos was missing from my phone he would be arrested and if he had any priors with any type of violence against women. He was lucky that I am kind.
Now, hopefully he doesn't breed but knowing the human race some dumb woman, or a few, already squeezed out some of his offspring that are now being raised in between beer cans, cigarette smoke, loud arguments and the noise of sports on the TV. No, I don't want to "talk" to you. We have NOTHING in common (besides co existing on this planet). Stay away from me, Thank You!

I took Chhaya to see the fireworks. She is not scared of fireworks, she gets excited, very excited and wants to join in.



I see that Trump has visited my birth country Poland and is now at, or heading for the G20 summit in Hamburg and has a meeting with my husband to be - Putin.
I have not followed this in detail whatsoever because I was also without my laptop for a few days. My charger was missing but I got it back today. So now I am back, phone and laptop. Yeay!

This world is sick and it is sick because of people. I am reading about that poor man, Otto Warmbier (barely an adult) that made the terrible mistake to travel to North Korea. And returned home in a coma and is now dead. Poor his parents. First of all, WHO wants to visit North Korea willingly? Even if I got offered a large sum of money I would not go there and support that regime in any way. That joke of a "man" in power over there, somebody needs to get rid of him. If you read on the US State Department's site, traveling to North Korea is strongly discouraged because you can get detained for basically anything there. You look at somebody the wrong way and you get sentenced to at least a decade of hard labor and a starvation diet. I feel bad for the people that live there. Completely brain washed and imprisoned within their own country. How can a place like that exist in these times? And what the hell is Dennis Rodman doing over there when he goes to visit? And if you for some reason DO encounter a problem in North Korea you have to contact the SWEDISH embassy over there, since there is no US embassy or consulate there. No shit. Who wants to work there? Now I feel bad for the Swedes working there. I am NEVER giving up my Swedish passport by the way. Yea, yea.....never say never but that is how I feel. I love my Swedish citizenship.
Other places I would not travel to would be places where men treat women like possessions and where getting gang raped by a bunch of sex starved lunatics is almost considered normal. Like India. Too bad because I love Indian food and that country has so much history. Also no interest in traveling to some Muslim countries. No thanks, I do not want to be subjected to that kind of blatant disrespect and be around unevolved behaviour. And have zero rights.
I also don't want to go to places where people think eating dog is yummy. There is a TERRIBLE picture of a tied up dog that I saw today. Paws tied together and mouth bound shout. I want to beat the person that did that to the dog. I do hate people. And also something about that tourists in some place think that they are buying some dish with chicken meat when in fact it's dog meat. How about eating less meat in general? I can't stand that UNEVOLVED mindset that one needs to eat meat every day. NO YOU DON'T!
You will survive without meat - I promise. If you are privileged enough to be able to make choices about what you stick in your mouth.....how about practicing some compassion and kindness too and not ONLY think about yourself for a change? Think about that animal that you are chewing on. Do you care how it lived, how it was treated during it's life and how it died? No? Well, maybe it's time that you should USE your brain and think about something useful.
OK.....I don't hate everybody although I do think that this is a sick world. It does hurt to live. So much misery. I am watching SKAM 4, it is so disappointing that there will be no more episodes of SKAM after season 4. This series is SO GOOD!
I freakin' love all the characters but I especially LOVE P-Chris. How pretty and sexy can I guy get? Me and all the other teenage girls and ladies agree.......although I'm supposedly an adult (nooooo, I want to be 19!) I am very much like a teenager in many ways. And right now my boy crush is P-Chris.

Look....I found a faerie ring! I LOVE faeries and mermaids! I know that in certain folklore it is considered bad luck to step into a fearie ring but since I am a helper of animals and nature in general I feel safe from that kind of superstition. Plus I am part faerie.



Today I am getting crutches, already got one pair and in a bit I will pick up another pair. I want three pairs of crutches and maybe a wheelchair as well that I am going to donate to an upcoming event. Where to find crutches? Well, I looked at Craigslist.

Today I had a facial at Face to Face Day Spa in Bend Oregon. I also added on a wild lime scalp treatment. Unfortunately I was not happy. This is the third time I am not happy with a facial. The time before today was at a place in Las Vegas in 2015 called Aminah's Organic Skin Spa, I complained nicely to the owner (she is gorgeous by the way) and got a full refund. She quickly realized that I knew what I was talking about and not just rambling nonsense. And the first time was at some salon in Huntington Beach CA a long time ago. The poorly trained esthetician used an extraction tool and I had angry red marks all over my face, I am talking about at least 20 red indentations for a week after the facial. It should not be like that and the owner gave me a complimentary facial. Then of course I've had many good and great face and body treatments but I have to say, the best estheticians have been Europeans. I used to go to an older Hungarian lady in Las Vegas called Beba and she still does facials, check out Faces By Beba - she is good. She used to be very good but I think she has lost some of her magic but she still does a good job. I do recommend her.
Now back to today's disappointing facial experience....



I could tell from the initial approach by the esthetician today that she was kind of "meh" or uninspired and it definitely showed in her performance. Her cleansing and massage techniques were poor. She did not pay attention to details.
She positioned the face steam machine on one side of my face, the steam should engulf your whole face to open up your pores so the products can really penetrate your skin. Well, only my right check and ear area got steam, not the middle of my face and the whole left side of my face. That is a bad mistake.
She sprayed some product from a bottle too far away from my face, barely any product made contact with my face, so why even bother spraying then?
She either went to a low standard school, I asked and the answer actually confirmed it and/or she just doesn't have that special touch. Not everybody has THAT touch. The facial was supposed to last one hour and then I also added on the scalp treatment. Thinking when you add on a treatment to a facial that is supposed to last one hour then your whole treatment should be more than one hour. Right? No, not today. 60 minutes later it was over.
When I politely asked the lady at the front desk about it she got defensive and wondered if I did not want to pay for the services? It is not that I don't want to pay but when you go to a place that describes themselves as quality and charges around $100 for a one hour facial you should also get quality. The service I got today I feel would had been OK if I would had received it from a student still not done with their esthetician education and was still practicing in school.
Not somebody that graduated from school with a diploma and working at a salon or spa. Of course I paid, $98.50 cash, I got 10% off (I did not ask for the discount).
I left the esthetician $15 in tip although she didn't really deserve it but I just don't think she knows any better. She is not, in my opinion, qualified to work as an esthetician. I can do a better job and I did not go to esthetician school - maybe I should! I will not return to this place. I have two other places I want to try in Oregon. One is in Lake Oswego outside Portland and that spa is owned and operated by a Russian lady and she comes highly recommended and then there is another place here in Bend and that esthetician travels between Bend and Lake Oswego. I have a feeling that the Russian will do an excellent job.

I go to Backporch coffee everyday for my latte here in Bend. It does not surprise me that they are voted the best in Central Oregon. I am a latte connoisseur as you all know. But Kaladi is still the best so far according to me.



What I do like about Backporch is that they use syrups by Holy Kakow, a company based out of Portland and the syrups are organic. And I much rather have organic than non organic.
I am trying to convince the owner of the cafe I worked at in Las Vegas to go with Holy Kakow syrups.

I thought I would take a look at the sunset from the top of Pilot Butte in Bend Oregon today.....so me and Chhaya drove up there. You can drive or walk. I would like to walk up there as well, some people bike also, I will walk up another time.



It only takes a few minutes to drive up and once at the destination we walked around and soaked up the rays. More people arrived the closer to sunset it got.....



We explored a little. And admired the view from the top.









The the sun started setting.....another day came and went. Thank You sun!

There were still a lot of people left at Pilot Butte when we drove down. I realized that it is a full moon tomorrow and I am sure people wanted to watch the moon from up there tonight since it's almost full.
