From Memorial Day To Boccone Dolce
I was away for over a week and now I am back to my regular life. Today I went to my regular coffee shop, took Chhaya walking at "our" regular park, planted more vegetables in the growing garden and put up a hammock.
But here is what I did when I was away.....me and Chhaya spent Memorial Day on the Oregon Coast.

Chhaya on her way down to the beach.

Sunset and a beautiful view.

Me.

Us.

Beach house and the moon.

After a few days at the beach we went to Portland. We stay at this house, it was built in 1908 and has lots of charm and interesting stuff inside.

Chhaya loves the surrounding garden, I do too.

Found some Polish food. I am going back for more next time I go to Portland.

Made a few mandatory stops at the Bipartisan Cafe.

Had pizza at Escape From New York and saw this super cute card hanging on the wall there.

The last night in Portland I was taken to Papa Haydn where I had Boccone Dolce for the first time, I LOVE dessert and I am DEFINITELY going back for more of this. SO GOOD!
Boccone Dolce is now sharing the first place of my fave dessert, the other one is Prinsesstårta.

I sat by this fire pit a few weeks ago, the same evening that people celebrate Valborg (Walpurgis Night) in Sweden. Good timing!
I planted some lettuce. It's growing a bit (I think), I definitely do not have a green thumb.
I came across this sign going out to Smith Rock and thought it was great.
Refreshments and Pippi.
My latest tea.
Pretty colors at a Farmers Market.
I went to the Bipartisan Cafe in Portland. Super happy to be there by the way.....
Of course we had some pie.
Rhododendron.
Chhaya met a bobcat.
That is Mount Hood in the background.
Drove up to Timberline Lodge which is located kind of halfway up Mount Hood. I need to go back to Timberline Lodge - a very nice historical place plus I want to meet the Saint Bernards they have there. Skiing there would be amazing too.
Snow in May.
Pretty pics of beautiful Chhaya.
Mother's Day just passed.....Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!
Right now I am on location somewhere along the Oregon coast since a couple days, I will enjoy it to the fullest with Chhaya for a few more days.....We both love it here.
