it's cold in vegas as well. julia has been seraching through her closet, digging out clothes from the denver trip last year.

last night was the 5 year anniversary party at Sapphire in Las Vegas and Jenny McCarthy was hosting it.

there were also some blonde triplets playing some violins or other instruments and they put on a little show on stage.

many people, many couples, many locals, and julia thought it was pretty boring.

It is snowing today. The whole sky is full with snow, it is grey and very pretty. The snow is heavy and wet. Tatiana is feeling Christmas-y. She is listening to Christmas songs on the radio and thinking about the tree she will decorate when she gets back to Vegas. She misses Chhaya...... Next time she comes here she is bringing Chhaya.
Tomorrow she is planning a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center if the weather permits. And the day after she is going to take a drive somewhere, to see some sights.

So I got the new People magazine because Jennifer Lowe Hewitt is "furious" that she is being called fat after some recent pics of her in a bikini have been shown.
She says that the pictures are showing her from a "bad angle" and that she is a size 2 and not fat. She also says that women should put on their bikinis and be proud. THAT I agree with.
Women shouldn't put too much attention to the way media pressures them into looking. Just be comfortable with what you are I guess, if you are happy. If you are happy chunky, fat, skinny, whatever you are, then that's great. Women shouldn't live only to make men happy.
What I don't agree with is that Jennifer Lowe Hewitt obviously is not a size 2. I know about bad angles in pictures, they can be very unflattering but that is not a size 2 honey. That is a big ass! She is just not the airbrushed, made up and make up plastered looking and put in the right angle in front of the camera girl, that she wants us to see her as. Jennifer does not look like her Maxim cover on a day to day basis. Not a lot of people do. Certainly not her.
Same with Tyra Banks a few months ago. Unflattering pic. She looked big. Only a plus size modeling agency would maybe consider hiring that if she was an unknown name. She freaked out, probably went on a crash course diet, colonics etc (but secretly) before she stepped out again in the same bathing suit to show all of us that she really isn't fat. Hallelujah!
No, lot of celebs do not look like their covers. It takes work and airbrushing to look like that. But they want us to think that they really are that "beautiful" all the time. Right.
So kudos to Britney. That girl is real, she will step out, zits all over, hair extensions falling out, muffin top bulging and just be who she is. You just got to love her. I do. Hugs to Britney!
And Christina Aguliera talked shit when Britney climbed out of a limo a few times sans panties and then she goes and does the same thing but while 8 months pregnant! Maybe she had a sweaty coochie that day? What a hypocrite...... She needs to go easy on that war paint she is never seen without. Looks like a drag queen, clubbing on a Saturday night.
You know where you can see real girls? In the strip club. Not the ones squeezed into corsets, usually they are trying to hide something. Look for the ones in a small bikini. Then watch them on stage. You can't hide. There are good days and bad ones. Sometimes I feel great and sometimes not so much. But I still go on stage the way I am. And usually I am happy.

Tatiana is at Kinko's, she has to go to work in a little bit but here's a description of the club so far.
Alaskan Bush Company reminds her of a mix of an old Western saloon and a bordello look wise. The building is rather large and made if wood, rustic.
There's one stage and no pole. The womenfolk quarters are upstairs, meaning the dressing rooms. You gracefully clomp down some wooden stairs to get down on the main floor. Tatiana has been going on stage between 3-6 times a night. Second song is nude. YEAY! Tatiana has not shaved down there for about three months now, she is proudly putting her long haired grizzly on display, the guys here just LOVE it!!! Stage has been lots of fun actually. Here people pay attention and appreciate the girls. Very nice.
She has been playing Kid Rock So Hott - it is a great strip club song and in Tatiana's head, he wrote it just for her. Ha Ha. (You got a body like the devil and you smell like sex I can tell you're trouble but I'm still obsessed).
Some girls are truly talented performers and put on some rather impressive and fun acts. People here have been very friendly. Tatiana has been staying rather busy,
guys actually ask for dances and the overall atmosphere is great. Ok, time to go......
Btw......you did not really believe that Tatiana sports a grizzly down there? I guess you will have to pay her a visit at the famous Alaskan Bush Company to find out!

Tatiana has been in Anchorage, Alaska since Monday, so for a few days now.
So far she totally LOVES it! It is not cold at all, in the 30's. No snow but hopefully there will be some before she leaves.
The club, Alaskan Bush Company, has met all her expectations. Everybody has been very nice and they seem to really like Tatiana too. Tatiana is VERY happy that she made the decision to come here and most likely she will come back. More about Tatiana's Alaska adventures another time......

Tatiana has been feeling disappointed for some time now with Sapphire, the club in Las Vegas that her and Julia work at. Just to sum it up quickly she thinks that the club has been getting very raunchy and nasty, girls are basically doing anything to make money and that's not what a strip club should consist of Tatiana thinks. The club has rules that are broken constantly. All the time.
It doesn't matter if you are nice and pretty, you can be not at all good looking as long as you are willing to do the extras. Then you'll make money. They have plenty of really ugly girls working at Sapphire, to be frank, and they seem to be spending a lot if time in the VIP rooms......
The management are looking the other way since these girls often tip them out on top of the high house fees that the club already charges. Basically the managers are like pimps. It is disgusting and it really bothers Tatiana a lot. She is not going to subject herself to anything else than entertainment style lap dancing to make money.
Boob grabbing and vagine touching and flashing? Rubbing penises? NO WAY!
Not to mention all the other things that Tatiana knows goes on......
There should be a difference between a stripper/dancer and a prostitute. Right?
The option is to go to another club of course......and the girls will probably do that soon......but it seems to be the same kind of situation in all of the Vegas clubs. Julia is upset too, the club would not let her go home though she was sick, because she owed the club $ 15. After she has been working there for almost a year and been paying her house fees every time. And they are going to make a big deal over $ 15!
Tatiana thinks that it is almost embarrassing to say that she is a dancer. People seem to think it means something else.
