Shopping so far

Yellow. Electric Daisy Carnival is a party where a lot of yellow is worn, because of the yellow in the daisy.
So I am shopping for cute stuff that is yellow or has yellow details. Brought some with me and got some new. I have not put any of my outfits together yet. Good places to shop for a rave.....American Apparel and H&M. I will probably go to H&M later today.
Here a two new shirts, I love the smiley face, to me it represents acid house from back in the day and is totally fitting for a rave.
Neon yellow leg warmers from American Apparel.

Then I needed a new hoodie. This one is from Victoria's Secret and it is super soft. Shirt from there too. Some sports bra's and Honeydew's.
Already have the black ones but needed a new pair. Same with the pink......I think. I can't remember exactly.....I have so many Honeydew panties.
You can buy the old ones that I don't wear anymore from me if you want.

Good Morning Sunshine!

I woke up and went to got a latte, Starbucks is like three minutes away - perfect! Came back home and smeared some honey on my face again.
You should try this natural remedy too. Honey is a great moisturizer and it also has antiseptic qualities. I leave it on for about 15 - 20 minutes, rinse and then apply whatever facial cream I am using, right now it's L'Occitane and also a sunscreen from Clarins since it is sunny in Vegas.
This honey that I got from Whole Foods is the cutest honey I have ever seen. There is a little honeycomb in the jar. I am going to bring that little honeycomb back to Alaska and put it out in the forest. Yes, that's me with honey all over my face. Super glam, I knoooow.......!

Wednesday

Woke up around 10, picked out my outfit and drove to my neighborhood Starbucks, got a latte and went home to read a little.

Ventured out to look around for more possible outfits to wear at EDC this weekend. I am going to keep it fairly simple as always, I want to look very cute but my main priority is to be comfortable enough to dance basically all night long for three nights.
Later on I met up with Mikey to have dinner at Lotus of Siam. I have heard about this place, supposedly the best Thai food in the country.

I ordered the red curry with chicken. On a scale from 1 - 10 I picked 6 for the level of my meal's spiciness. I love spicy food, it cleans your insides out, very healthy. My food was spicy, but I could probably go for a level 8 in spiciness next time.
But my fave part of the meal was my iced Thai coffee, soooooo delicious! I had two.

I also liked my dessert, sticky rice with ice cream.

After that me and Mikey went to the Black Room, a German fetish shop. Quite interesting. You have to go there when you visit Vegas!

I have always wanted a military style cap. I tried on an authentic East German Stasi cap. Or should I go with a Russian officer (KGB?) cap instead?
Help, I can't decide........! I have a strong liking for certain uniforms. Meaning ME in a uniform, of course. Very SEKSI.

We even got acquainted with Franz, the owner of the place, a super nice man from Germany. Interestingly enough Franz told me he thinks that I should become a dominatrix, he thinks my personality is totally fitting for that. HA! You don't say?! Maybe I should, since I am "too mean" to the men I frighten at work. Franz said he thinks I should get paid to be bossy instead of being agreeable. Maybe Franz is right? I think Franz is very smart to quickly asses my commanding personality.
Lecken mein Stiefel!!!
After that adventure we went to the Smith Center for The performing Arts. I have never been there before and I loved it.

And since we were close by, we went to Fremont Street, always an experience. Full of gawking tourists, freaks, homeless, hustlers, entertainers and free shows that are surprisingly good.
This was actually the first club I worked at in Vegas, Glitter Gulch. I was there for a week. Don't remember much of it besides that I thought the stage was awkward, like a long catwalk, the place is a tourist trap.

Another great day. VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!

Tuesday

After a refreshing shower and a short rest I got dressed in on of my fave colors, pink and headed out in the hot Vegas day.

I had a facial scheduled at noon with a lady that I used to go to for facials. I don't know what happened to her facial skills, I remember her as being very good but this time it was a huge disappointment. That was the last time I had a facial with her. I could had done whatever she did to me in under 60 minutes at home in my bathroom and saved myself $ 100.
Lesson learned (I hope).
After the facial I just had to go to the Fashion Show Mall, my fave mall in Vegas. I was craving my mall fix. There is no Fashion Show Mall in Kenai!

Then I did some more shopping all day, went to Town Center, Whole Foods.......fantastic.
In the evening I shared a delicious meal with Mikey that he prepared for us on the grill. I made cheladas, yummy!

After that I slathered my face with raw honey, relaxed with that on while reading a book. Washed it off and drifted to sleep.

Flying

Tatiana spent all night on an airplane. She gets a little emotional when traveling......it is sad somehow.
It was a beautiful evening in Anchorage, the sky over the mountains was tinted light pink.

And this is from somewhere over Alaska. Very majestic, Tatiana felt tiny. A small human in such an enormous place.

When Tatiana arrived in Vegas at 9 AM today she felt - HOME.

In Traffic

I am in Anchorage right now about to catch a plane to Vegas in a few hours.........
Having separation anxiety from my Chhaya but I know she is in good hands. Thoroughly enjoyed a meal at the Yak & Yeti. They have THE BEST chai there but I totally forgot about that and ordered a latte next door instead. Must get a chai next time. Cannot forget!
It is SOOOOOO much nicer, warmer, greener and more lush in Anchorage than it is in Kenai. It actually feels like summer here and I just want to be outside and enjoy myself. Go for a long walk and take it all in. Kenai is borderline depressing even in the sk summer time.
Anyways, I have to start heading towards the airport soon.......next time I check in I will be in Vegas, unless I get inspired to write something while I am at the airport.
