San Francisco

I fell in love with San Francisco. ❤

Driving in across the Bay Bridge, the sun was down....it was the last day of 2017. I felt anticipation and happiness.

The following day, New Year's Day was spent exploring. I thought it was scary to drive up and down some of those really steep streets.....I don't know how people drive like that every day and park their cars on steep hills.
Here you can see Alcatraz in the distance.

The years's first meal. My Mom once told me that a year's first day - your food intake, your mood and what happens, sets the tone for the rest of the year and the tone for the first day of 2018 was great. Plus this is an 11 year and there were a few 11's surrounding me in San Francisco.

We had to go here - Haight and Ashbury.

We went to Amoeba Music.

I am glad I have this friend. ❤

So this January is special because of two full moons, both supermoons, one already happened on January 1. It was called the Wolf Moon. The next one is on January 31 and it is called the Blue Moon but also Blood Moon since there will be a lunar eclipse and the moon will turn blood red at some point. Don't miss out on seeing that! This can't be seen from everywhere but I hope to catch a glimpse of it.

Until next time San Francisco!

Cat Club

How was your New Year's? I drove to San Francisco with Desi and we went to the Cat Club. 80's music! So Planet Earth at Burning Man is modeled after the Cat Club and I love Planet Earth. Therefore I have really been wanting to check out the Cat Club....so we did.
This was my third time to San Francisco, the first time I went to a rave at the Cow Palace to see Keoki play and the second time I went with a dj friend to be his company when he played at a club. I only did minor sightseeing then, Fisherman's Wharf and Amoeba Music where I bought some vinyl. This time I had my car and drove across Golden Gate Bridge and Bay Bridge plus I drove around some in the city and did some sightseeing. And I right away decided.....I LOVE San Francisco - interesting, beautiful and I HAVE to go back, spend a few days, explore and feel the place out some more. My kind of city.
Here are pics from New Year's Eve....

There was a photo booth in the club.....with my fave band.

I grabbed a poster at the end of the night to keep as a memento.

And before you know it the party is over....well at least that party. So we went back to our room and went to sleep. Sometime close to 5 am. Happy New Year everybody!

Glitch

As you (readers of the blog) probably noticed the blog was gone for this past week. There was some kind of a glitch but it is fixed now thanks (MANY THANKS!) to my friend KISA in Germany. I have zero knowledge in computer code language and it is difficult for me to even grasp it. Although when I talked to hosting support yesterday, the person I talked to told me he was selling cars before he started working with computer related stuff and he learned everything at work. So I guess it is possible to learn but probably not for me. Anyhow, my KISA fixed the blog yet again. I have been wanting to send him at least a thank you card and a small gift to show my appreciation but he refuses, so if I ever make it to Germany I will insist on taking him to coffee or dinner.
I have a few things to write about.....I spent New Years in San Francisco....wow it has already been a week. We are one week into 2018! ⭐ HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody! ⭐ I have a very good feeling about this new year.
But before I tell you about New Years I have to take Chhaya for a walk and do some errands.
She got a new comfy bed for the car yesterday. So I talk to you later....!

Show

Some photos with me in them were displayed in an art/photo show recently. And sold. Kind of fun to know. Most of my pics taken by various photographers can be found under the "I'm Vain" category in the blog.
Scroll through in case you want to put in an order for a print for yourself. Everybody needs Tati hanging on their walls, my presence will add a lot to the overall ambiance of your home.

Chhaya's Christmas

What did Chhaya get for Christmas? Something to play tug with and something to nibby on and eventually rip apart.
But first some posing for pics.....She is the best. Desi thinks that I should start an Instagram for Chhaya because she is so pretty and poses so well. Here is Chhaya's Christmas in a few pics.

What's in the bag?

Nap time.

Our Christmas

So Christmas is over.....our Christmas 2017 was nice. I decorated and put up a small plastic tree. I would feel bad having a real tree, I think that's wasteful plus I would feel sad and bad for the tree. The plastic one I can reuse forever basically. I usually leave all the decorations out until about January 13 as per Swedish tradition.
Here are mine and Chhaya's Christmas pics for this year.

Some of the Christmas decorations.....

And no snow on the ground! I thought there would be snow around now but no. Warm and sunny instead but I am not complaining.
