Gray

I think I love my new gray bra.....I wasn't for sure about the color gray on me but I like it. I have some gray Honey Dew's that match ok and some pink ones with gray lace and details. I am not overly obsessive about matching, as long as it is kind of the same color I am ok.
Or something that goes together well.

So.....some stories from work last night perhaps? We had a fun and nice group of guys in the last two nights, they all live in Hawaii and they are here fishing. They are also very generous. Last night they threw so many dollar bills at me when I was on stage that I asked them to stop throwing money because it was another girls turn to go on stage. That, according to my friend Sharon that I work with, goes down in stripper history. A girl in the strip club asking guys to stop throwing money on her already.
:-D
Another kind of hilarious thing that you will only hear in a strip club......while I was on stage one of the guys in that group said that if he died and had to come back as a VAGINE......it would be mine. He didn't use the word VAGINE (I use it to make it more fun sounding).
He used another word that start with a P. That was kind of funny and we were all laughing about it and I also felt kind of embarrassed. I don't do anything too crazy on stage, especially not when I am totally nude, I am rather conservative if you can use that word for a dancer, no spread wide open legs or doggy style, it is not my style but some girls do that and make it look nice and sexy (and others should just avoid those positions all together). I am going for the more sensual and pretty style I guess, if I had to try to describe it.

Vegas Shopping

I had some time for shopping in Vegas.....I love shopping. Even though I don't need anything......I know this but I still like stuff.
So of course I had to go to Victoria's Secret to see if they had some new cute bras. And I found two, a light pink one and a gray one. Since I don't like their panties too much I went looking for Honey Dew's and found one pair. I guess I have almost every pair of Honey Dew's boy short style that came out so I have to wait until they come up with some new designs and colors.

Then I got this pink net top, perfect for Burning Man next year. I want a long one too.
And there is a new Juicy perfume out, VIVA LA JUICY NOIR. It smells really good and I love the bottle. I have saved almost all my Juicy perfume bottles, one day I am going to make some sort of an art project with them, that's the plan.

I walked by ALDO and found these boots, I tried them on and liked them. I didn't buy them that day but I am still thinking of them so I will probably order them online. I have been looking for some boots with silver details. I found a pair at a small boutique on NYC last December that looked a lot like these but more expensive and they were also out of my size. These are nice too, I think I am going to order them later today.
I also tried on and liked some very nice and soft leggings from Rag & Bone that I might have to order.

Then.....I saw and fell in love with these sneakers by Giuseppe Zanotti. I want them BUT they are kind of expensive, about $ 700. But sooooo nice! After looking at some more online, I also fell in love with the turquoise ones with the fringe. WOW. I NEED! LOOK

I went to work last night.....I was there for a little over four hours before I was over it and asked to go home. Drama, negativity.....ugh....I wanted to be back at Burning Man. I can't tell you how nice it is that I can remove myself somewhat from the stuff that annoys me at work by hiding out on the couch with either a book or my laptop. Until somebody comes up and wonders what is wrong and why I am sitting all alone that is. Typical. Speaking of reading....
I have started on the Dan Brown's latest Inferno and I like it.
I think I am going to start breaking down my Burning Man experience on Monday with a series of blogs and of course pictures to go with it.....so keep on reading if you want to know how it was!

Brand New

Here is a brand new pic of me at Burning Man. I was lucky enough to run into a very nice person and also a great photographer while I was sitting by myself at Center Camp sipping on an iced latte. We started talking and a few days later he took some pics of me. The statue in the background was one of my favorite pieces of art at Burning Man, I called it The Lady, not sure if that is the correct name. More pictures of the statue another time and I have more pictures to show from the shoot too.
It is raining and windy out. I am going to get dressed and head out for my latte, a hot one today. Then I have errands to do and possibly work tonight.

Memories

So when I was at Burning Man I was lucky enough to borrow a bike for the whole time I was there....the chain came off a few times and people were nice enough to fix it for me each time. Well, after so many times of coming off I took the bike to a bike repair place, yes there were a few of those at Burning Man, nice people taking time out of THEIR Burning Man to repair bikes, for FREE. Wanting nothing in return. While some good hearted person was fixing my bike, another came up and gave me this Burning Man necklace that he carved out of wood, he said he made about 200 to give away. Thank You! Another time while I was enjoying my latte at Center Camp a group sat down by me, we started chatting and next thing I know I get this vial that was empty at the time but I filled it up with playa dust. I had been thinking how nice it would be to bring back some playa dust home as a memory and then a stranger gave me that empty vial. Unreal. One more thing, the stranger turned out to be a rather amazing photographer and he offered to take pics of me, of course I said yes and the pics turned out so good. I am very happy with them and I feel very fortunate and again extremely grateful.
So this evening I put my two gifts in the window with some incense and a candle, sending out happy thoughts and memories about the Burning Man that I got to experience. And hope to experience again.

One more thing. While waiting for my connecting flight in Seattle last night a woman got paged. Her last name was Gerlach. That is the name of the town closest to where Burning Man is held. She got paged twice, so I know I heard it correctly. Coincidence? To me it is a sign that I need to go again. And make more memories.
Of course some people will never understand Burning Man and think (wrongly) that it is ONLY some huge freak orgy where you get drunk, drugged up and run around naked and act like an ass. That would be more like Mardi Gras or any local bar. I went to Mardi Gras once, not my scene and guess what....I didn't show my boobs once. Burning Man has its share of naked people but it's not sexual, at least not for me. It didn't seem to be for the naked ones either. I am full of happiness and feel like I am radiating from the inside of my soul. When I hear people talk negative about something so amazing that they have no clue about and are not even willing to be open minded about, it makes me sad. Please do not destroy other people's joy!

Tired Puppy

Me and Chhaya are both back home. She is a very tired little puppy and I was sooooo tired earlier but I am up and alert now. Chhaya is dirty and needs a bath. Se was shedding a LOT,
I guess that is normal because she was nervous and in a strange environment and away from me, so I brushed her before she got to lay down in the bed. What worries me a little is that her gums were red and kind of swollen and her teeth got yellowish while at the kennel.
I made some chamomile tea and I am going to clean her gums with that, chamomile is an anti inflammatory. It usually helps. Another thing I want to mention to all my readers and fans..... turmeric . There was a whole special on that spice on Coast To Coast Am last night that I listened to while I drove back to Kenai. I sent some to my Mom and other people a while back already and I sprinkle it on my food and Chhaya's food too. Read up on it and incorporate it to your diet. There is actually curcumin in Chhaya's dry kibble, curcumin is basically turmeric also....if I understand it right.
Besides that.....I am not too happy about being back to reality. I think about Burning Man all the time and wish I was dancing to house music and taking foam showers. Reality feels fuzzy and weird. But it is what it is and I have to make the best of it until I go back to Burning Man next year......

Au Revoir

So it is time to leave Vegas....a very short visit this time. I will probably be back soon.
Spent the day running around doing errands and shopping. It's funny, when I am in Kenai I don't do much, besides sit at home, walk Chhaya and work. When I am in Vegas I am usually super busy, I like that. It is always a bit bitter sweet to be here and then have to leave. I love Vegas. I have so many great memories from here. And friends that still live here. I drove by my old club today, former Crazy Horse Too now reopened as The Horse. I guess everything looks exactly the same inside. Did you know that Jenna Jameson started dancing there when she was only 17 and Dita Von Teese worked there too (one night supposedly). And of course the soon world famous Tatiana! :-D

Went To Whole Foods.....of course. I am going to have Whole Foods withdrawals! Best place ever. If they have a sign greeting you at the entrance like this one then you know it is good.
A latte in my hand......

I am at the airport now, gazing at the beautiful mountains in the background. Vegas is in a valley, surrounded by mountains, I think it is gorgeous here. I love this lizard at the airport,
it is so cute. I will see it again soon. Au Revoir Las Vegas!
