This dog is so willing to try anything, she is brave and curious. Always happy and playful.
Tatiana wakes up every morning with Chhaya cuddled up next to her. Yes, Chhaya sleeps in Tatiana's bed, Chhaya is family.
Chhaya protects Tatiana by killing mosquitoes that get too close to Tatiana. All Tatiana says is "get the skeets", that's the word for mosquitoes and Chhaya jumps after them and catches them in her mouth. My baby!
Just love her soooooo much!

Here is a pic from Tatiana a few weeks ago when she went out one night..........She actually decided to have a drink, hallelujah! For some reason, she had Jägermeister on her mind, and ordered it "with ice". "On the rocks" the bartender replied. "Sure" Tatiana said. The Jäger tasted like weird medication after three sips. Bleh.
Yeah, Tatiana is not much of a drinker. Just not her cup of tea.
One of the things that highly irritate her is when people at work try to force drinks on her. HELLO......! Are you dumb? Tatiana does not want to drink, if she wanted to she would be perfectly capable of accepting the damned drink or getting one herself. Some of her favorite arguments coming from guys that have a very hard time getting it into their thick skulls that Tatiana does not want a drink are, "Well, if you don't drink then you are no fun".
Yeah, hi you rapist, Tatiana sees what you have to do to get somewhere with a girl. But NOT this girl, Tatiana is in charge. Now get away from Tatiana please, watch her as she leaves.
Or, "What do you do for fun then if you don't drink"? Like fun only equals drinking..........FUN life YOU must have!
Really intoxicated people at work are usually annoying. And Tatiana has definitely seen her share of drunk, sloppy, extremely annoying girls at work. Not hot. Embarrassing.
Yes, yes sure Tatiana has been drunk.
She remembers when she tried alcohol at 13, thinking she was super cool, drinking with her friend Pernilla, before going out. They mixed wine, liquor and whatever else they could find into a bottle, it was absolutely disgusting. But Tatiana forced herself to some mouthfuls, cause she wanted to get drunk, even if it was gross. It was partyyyyyyy time!
Another time while visiting Poland, Tatiana and her friend Jenny visited a restaurant, they ordered a few rum and cokes each. And some admirers from a nearby table sent over a bottle of champagne. The room was spinning when Tatiana finally got up from that table. The admirers were probably hoping to get to know Tatiana and Jenny that night. But Tatiana barfed right outside the restaurant, sat down on some stairs and toppled over. How she got herself and Jenny in a cab and managed to get home she does not know. But she remembers screaming the address to the cab driver at the top of her lungs. Very lady like.
And another time, and the only time, that Tatiana left work due to being tipsy was when an apple Martini just sounded like a great and yummy idea. Halfway into her second apple Martini Tatiana was way tipsy and did not want to talk to strangers. Instead she made out with her friend Shelley, much to the audiences approval. This was at the Crazy Horse Too in Vegas btw. Tatiana and Shelley decided to leave and went to the Peppermill instead and Tatiana had her third apple Martini. And that's all it took, she got sick in the bathroom at the Peppermill. Shelley drove home, Tatiana remembers that drive, it felt unreal, like a go cart ride, how Shelley got us home is still a mystery to Tatiana.
When Tatiana used to go to BZ in Stockholm, a club, with her friend Marie, she sometimes ordered one, maybe two Martini Coolers. Those were so yummy, that's Martini Bianco with Sprite over ice.
So yes, Tatiana has been drunk but it's been some time now, she can sip on a drink occasionally but the chances of her being drunk at some club or at work are basically nil. And she feels the effects of the alcohol really fast, it only takes a few sips. Tatiana prefers being sober anyway. She is just as happy, outgoing and fun sober as she is tipsy.
Tatiana started going out on a regular basis in 7th grade. She would be out almost every Friday and Saturday. She felt like she would miss out on something very important if she didn't show up at the club.
It started with a place called BG, then once in a while there would be a disco at TC, and once in a while she would take a party bus to some huge clubs out in the forest with thousand of kids having fun.
Then at 15, it was the 18 and over clubs that were interesting, the ones in Stockholm. Tatiana remembers when her and Marie made it into Cafe Opera at the tender age of 16, that was something. How did we get in? We were just too cute!
But drinking was never that much fun after all. Tatiana fell in love with music and dancing and she was boy crazy in her teens too. And she carefully planned her outfits.
Then she discovered house music and raves or clubs that cater to that music. And boys became crazy over her. LOL.

Tatiana lied to a stranger today.......and afterward she spent a few minutes fretting over it in her head, she felt a little bad, but she thinks it was a white lie.
A girl walked up to Tatiana's car, right when she was about to exit it and get some stuff from the store. This was in a large parking lot.
The girl wanted to sell Tatiana something, she held a large cereal box or something similar to that in her arm and and had a button that said "Jesus" on it attached to her shirt. Tatiana did not want to buy anything, she did not want this girl to waste 5 minutes or so, trying to convince Tatiana to buy whatever she was selling.........so Tatiana blurted out, "Sorry, I just have a debit card". Though of course she had cash. Tatiana did just not want to waste this girls time. White lie? Yes? Ok?
Tatiana thinks it was better this way. The girl was really sweet and Tatiana wishes her good luck, since Jesus is involved too.
Maybe next time, if Tatiana sees her again, she should coach her a little. Like, don't spend any time trying to convince people to buy anything from you, that's a waste of energy.
Just say, "YOU NEED" with confidence and a smile. Or just a, "YES!?" and nod your head and smile. Or to change it up a little, kick the person on the leg, or the chair or the couch they are sitting on, that's what Tatiana does. It always works!

Today was laundry day, Tatiana does not have a washer and dryer at the house here in Alaska. So, she just has to go to the laundromat once in a while. Tatiana thinks that laundromats are a little creepy, you do your laundry after some stranger just had their dirty clothes in that same machine. Kind of yucky, really.
Tatiana always sniffs out the machine she is about to use and if it's stinky she picks a different one. She tries not to put too much thought into this.
After all it's not the end of the world, she can deal with it temporarily. At her house in Vegas, she has a washer and dryer, but not here.
The girl working at the laundry place said she liked Tatiana's shirt. It's Juicy and it says "Juicy Flower Child". After all, Tatiana is a neo hippie.
When the laundry was done, Tatiana went to the bakery and got a chocolate covered Bavarian cream filled donut, sooooooo yummy!
A pastry a day keeps the doctor away!

That means.......by the way......back in business.
That's right, Tatiana is back in business and it feels great. You can only sit around the house and "do nothing" for so long. Not that Tatiana just sits around and stares at the tv, though she does that too. There's sleep, Chhaya, cleaning, organizing, laundry, plucking eyebrows, chasing ingrown hairs, eating pastries, obsessing over eyelash growth.....you know, STUFF.
But now it's time to throw some work into the mix. Work is good.
Last night somebody asked Tatiana "What are you doing here, you should be in Playboy". Tatiana answered "I don't want to have sex with Hugh Hefner".
She also heard "you long legged BEAST". That was a first and Tatiana started laughing, fun stuff.
Playboy is for girls around 20, pretty girls, that have to understand that being a Playmate also includes extra work at the Playboy Mansion, and that can mean lot's of different things. Or for a celebrity of some sort, that is willing to be in Playboy for various reasons to get some publicity. Usually not an A-lister, but sometimes.
Tatiana loves Playboy, the pictures are usually very nice and flattering. Nothing wrong with appearing in Playboy.
Actually, a long time ago, Tatiana was "Sexy Girl Next Door" Playboy online, for a whole week! And the week after, her friend Shelley held the title.
WOOOHOOOO!!!!! Bragging rights! LOL.

The other day Tatiana read somewhere that rice water is good for hair. Really, she thought. Interesting. And decided to try it.
So tonight after the shampoo, she poured two large mugs of rice water she had prepared by cooking some rice earlier, into her hair, put it up and sat with the rice water in her hair for about 30 minutes before rinsing it out. Meanwhile she also slathered on some of that clay mask on her face, the Aveda one.
Tatiana has also been putting on Latisse on her lashes for about a week now, mind as well use it up, since she got the Latisse......back in October.
So the rice water supposedly makes the hair really soft. Tatiana is going to see if this works. And if it does, she is going to repeat the process tomorrow.
The Latisse, after weeks of faithful application, supposedly makes the lashes longer, darker and thicker. Tatiana is already bored with the Latisse but she is going to use up the bottle, since it's miniscule anyways, but she does not think that she will invest in any more Latisse. Unless, of course, her lashes just become absolutely amazing or something. Then it might be worth the effort of putting on some weird chemical on your lash line every night.
Back in the day, in Sweden, Tatiana used to do all kinds of beauty rituals at home, tiredlessly. Steam baths for the face, infused with chamomile or other herbs. Masks for the face, at least twice a week. A favorite was beaten egg white. Now Tatiana slowed down on the rituals. Not as many as before. She has not done a face steam at home in forever but she should, that's really for cleaning the skin.........Tatiana got lazy!
Though she could easily go for a facial, pedicure and a massage about once a week. If somebody else performs the service on her.
