Harmony Farm Sanctuary

Welcome to Chaos !!

Harmony Farm Sanctuary

Me an Desi went back to Harmony Farm in Sisters the other day so we could meet the lady that owns the place, say hello to the animals and bring some stuff (donations). Robine (the owner) took her time and walked us through, told us about her place and the animals and we got to meet and pet most of them. I was in animal love heaven. SO CUTE. All of them. And so curious, nice and cuddly.

This baby calf's name is Norman. He was adorable. The most kind eyes with long lashes. He just wanted to be together with us.....most of the animals wanted to be close and part of what we were doing.

A Mama and her baby.

People should spend more time with animals so they can really understand how sentient and beautiful they are......then they should ponder a bit more about if they still think eating meat is a good idea.

Wonderful posting. Animal rescue farms are terrific places to visit and if so led, contribute to their cause.

Awe... did you name the baby calf Norman? That reminds me of the Billy Crystal movie City Slickers.... on the cattle drive in the middle of nowhere a calf was born and the cow died... he named the baby calf Norman and he watched out for it... it was a good older movie.....

I love your blog posts and photos, you always seem to be doing interesting things and usually having lots of good times.

It sounds like you have made a good local friend with Desi... it is always nice to have a like minded friend to share time with.

No, the lady that runs the place, Robine named him Norman.
She had him since he was a few days old. Perhaps she watched that movie as well and got the name idea from there.
I don't know if I do that many interesting things.....I spend plenty of time doing the usual. Meaning nothing special.
    Have a nice weekend Carla.

It's only Friday afternoon so I still have a few hours to go before I get off work.... then I wish I had nothing to do but relax for the weekend but you know what kind of job I have so you also know that most weekends in my line of work are filled up with take home work... but at least I can schedule my free time and down-time this weekend.
You and Desi have a good weekend too!

ps: ... and in my opinion you are always doing interesting things and going to interesting places.... that is what draws me back to your blog frequently. I work all day Monday-Fridays and many weekend days so I don't always have time to do a lot of activities... so it is nice to visit your blog and virtually go where you go. 🙂
