Lazy, warm, sunny, breezy Summer days and new exciting books to read go hand in hand in Tatianas world. She just finished "Some Girls, My life in a Harem" by Jillian Lauren, a story about the authors stints as a harem girl in Brunei, very interesting and very well written by Jillian who used to be a dancer as well......She is now a Mother besides being an author and married to some musician called Scott Shriner. She has other books coming out, Tatiana is planning to read those as well. She is going to lend this one to Savannah, Tatiana thinks that Savannah will enjoy reading this bookl.
Next up "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg Larsson and "The Girl who played with Fire" by Stieg as well. Stieg was Swedish, he passed away a few years back, his books are on the top seller lists and he is/was an amazing writer, really.
So Tatiana is just going to lounge around with yummy lattes and her books. How perfect is that!?

To answer a question posted by "anonymous" regarding Tatianas fourth language.........the body language of course!
But besides that one.....Tatiana parle français aussi............und sie spricht ein bisschen Deutsch auch......
All of this very handy when you go on secret missions.

If you have been reading Tatianas awesome blog you know that she is an animal lover. Tatianas companion is Chhaya, a beautiful, very special pitbull girl.
The other night Tatiana met some people at work with a special and urgent story. They need help finding good homes for some dogs, very cute super cuddly looking dogs.
Even if YOU can't take in a dog right now, you might know somebody that does? It can't hurt to ask!

It's a little after 1 am and it's kind of dark out. Tatiana is no longer in Anchorage, she is on a secret location somewhere out there. Her mission in Anchorage is accomplished for now and she is immersed in a different job now. You must have heard of the recent Russian Spy drama? And the movie SALT is coming out this month. Coincidence? There are no coincidences!
You thought a girl like Tatiana "just" works at The Bush? Fluent in four languages and countless of other skills? Like cleaning and putting people in their place and other top secret talents that she under no circumstances is allowed to reveal. Actually, she has already said a little too much.......

Tatiana is curled up on the couch, content and full after bringing home a delicious meal from Tap Root Cafe. Greek salad, loaded with garlic, Tatianas Borat breath is overwhelming, yam fries and a carrot cake that is sooooooo yummy. You need to eat at Tap Root too!
Chhaya got a steak this evening, so she is napping right now. Very happy.
Tatiana was going to go for a run with Chhaya tonight but it's almost midnight and she decided to wake up early instead and go for a morning run.
Anyways......this is what happened today, it's JULY 4th.......what are YOU happy over today? Tatiana is happy that she has Chhaya, really good food to enjoy, good health and friends.........and a bunch of other things but that was what she thought of first.
So today Tatiana and Autumn went to the annual Forest Fair in Girdwood. It was nice but a little too family oriented, too many Moms and their babies. The real party happened last night but we were stuck at work. So we did some eating and shopping, contributed to the economy. We ran into Autumns friend Ivan that plays in a band called SUPERFREQUENCY, they are like famous here in Alaska. Tatiana felt like she was walking around the Forest Fair with a celebrity, everybody was staring......but wait......maybe they were staring at Tatiana and Autumn? Hmmmmm......probably so actually. Tatiana decided to rename Ivan to Igor but then she found that Valentino was way more fitting, so that became his name for the day.
SUPERFREQUENCY sounds like a very Coast To Coast-y name, Tatiana still listens to and loves Coast To Coast. Though she has found a new person to listen to on the radio. Michael Savage, he has a radio show called "The Savage Nation". He is funny, Tatiana doesn't agree with everything he is talking about of course but that's ok. It is good to listen to what other people have to say and he is kind of funny and very New Yorker Jewish, like a neurotic yenta from Queens. And he speaks his mind, Tatiana likes that.
But back to the adventures at The Forest Fair........no wild adventures, very tame.

So after some laps around Girdwood it was time to say bye bye and drive back to Anchorage.
When Tatiana got home, she changed clothes and met up with a couple of other girlfriends for a walk on the Coastal Trail. Then it was almost 9 pm. Tatiana was hungry again, so she stopped at Tap Root and got food to go. And she told you the rest.

It's almost bed time for Tatiana now if she is going to manage to get up early for that run.

Last night Tatiana encountered and danced for a person that was nice but somewhat annoying. He was asking the usual annoying and prying questions. "Why do you do this?" "Is this ALL you do?" Bla, bla, bla.......He thought there was a STIGMA attached to dancers. Well, Tatiana told him that if he thought there was such a negative stigma attached to dancers and strip clubs in general, then why was he in there? Also, she had to inform him that all the imagined stigmas he was thinking of and all the other preconceived notions he had for sure did not apply to her. And many other girls doing what Tatiana does as well.
And after the three dances were done, of course, he would just love to see Tatiana outside of the club. What? Why would somebody want to be in the company of such a bad person as a stripper? Please. Tatiana politely declined. It is really nothing personal, Tatiana is just NOT interested. She has enough of strangers at work. Outside she socializes with herself, Chhaya and a handful of selected friends.
At this moment she will only make exceptions for Chester Bennington, Ellen and Kate Moss.

......was lame as usual, this is like the norm now. Sadly. Tatiana is almost done with The Bush. But more on that topic another time.
Right now Tatiana wants to mention the show Paradise did. It was great! See at The Bush we have a handful of girls that put on shows, more elaborate and thought out than the usual two songs on stage that we all do. Most of the shows are really great and entertaining. And most of the time the shows do not receive close to enough appreciation, the drunk, confused children and Neanderthals that have been seeking out The Bush lately don't have the right amount of working chromosomes to understand and appreciate what's going on in there. Putting up a dollar or two is indeed very difficult, they can hardly handle to hold on to their beer bottles.
So, it's mostly us girls that actually applaud and compliment our coworkers and at times even tip them, to kind of show what the rest of the crowd should be doing.
Anyhow.....Paradise painted stars and stripes on her beautiful, bomb shell body, she then pressed a few t shirts to the paint that left imprints on the t shirts. It was really cool.
It is Friday today. Tatiana took care of some errands earlier, like getting some hair conditioner, took Chhaya out, got Subway. She even dragged herself to the gym. She really made an effort this afternoon.
Soon she is about to jump in the shower and then slather on some self tanner on her white skin so she looks bronzed and pretty. Then it's time to go to work again.
This weekend Tatiana is going to Girdwood with Autumn, they are going to the Girdwood Forest Fair, they will probably be the prettiest girls there, it's going to be fun.
Then Tatiana is working Monday next week and then she is taking some time off, she needs a break from The Bush.......she is sooooooo looking forward to it!

Lindsay Lohan went to EDC, Tatiana bets she had fun. Tatiana is jealous. Next year it's the 15 th Electric Daisy Carnival, Tatiana thinks she is obligated to go.......

Lilacs are Tatianas favorite flowers. They smell so good, they smell like Summer. Tatiana likes wild flowers or potted plants, she doesn't like cut flowers that you put in a vase. She feels bad for flowers that slowly die in a vase.
Fun facts about lilacs, the flower symbolizes love and the lilac is bisexual.

It's almost 4 am, Tatiana is home, showered and has a mud mask on her face. Just fabulous! Work was whatever.
Tatiana is wondering how EDC in LA was, it is over for tonight but tomorrow it starts all over again.
Because of EDC, Tatiana asked Landis to play David Guetta "The World Is Mine" and TV Rock "Flaunt It" tonight. Not that Tatiana doesn't play that on other nights also but tonight was special.
Oh well, there will be more raves in the future.......

.....is going on RIGHT NOW in Los Angeles and tomorrow too. Every little cell in Tatianas body is craving to go and be a part of it. Oh, she so wishes she could be there and dance all her worries away. And have some FUUUUUNNNNN!!!!!
Instead she is here, alone and has to go to work and socialize with strangers. Ugh.....yuck.....

The other day Tatiana was saying that she feels like she doesn't have any real friends here in Anchorage. What she meant was that she misses the way she would socialize with her friends in Las Vegas or even in Sweden. In a totally different way. Here she meets up occasionally with one or a couple of girlfriends for lunch, maybe dinner and once in a while a hike or a movie.
In Vegas she would spend hours with her friends, not always necessary doing a whole lot besides spending time together. Talking. Eating. Reading. Walking. Planning a trip, going somewhere. Discussing stuff, even arguing at times. Going out dancing. It was just on a totally different level than here, more in depth.
Here it is nice, very on the surface, nothing too deep. Nobody seems to want to take the initiative to make plans to do stuff. Tatiana is not used to that, whereas.....she feels lonely. Of course, she is happy over the friends she has made here, they are very nice but it is not the level of friendship that she is used to or that she craves. Maybe the friends here are too busy with their lives? Tatiana is missing her friends so much that she cries sometimes.
Friends are the family we choose for ourselves.
Tatiana wonders how much longer she will be in Alaska.......actually she is hoping for not much longer......it has been nice, especially in the Summer time, love the never ending daylight, sooooo gorgeous but on many levels Tatiana is over it. You should never say never but Tatiana is thinking not too much longer......

On another note, Tatiana is feeling much better today. And yes, that is her bed and her teddy bears on the pictures. One of those teddies Tatiana had since she was like five years old, his name is MISIU.
The girlier and cuter, the better. Why grow up when you can be young forever?

Tatianas picture or rather image, can be found in the latest issue of Kurv. magazine. Issue 020, should be out now, the magazine can be found at various Barnes & Noble locations in the Lower 48.
Kurv. is an Australian fashion magazine. How did Tatiana end up in it? Well.......the photographer, Wolf189, submitted a series of images of nine different girls and Kurv. decided that they wanted to see more of Tatiana - only. They were thinking about giving her a multi page appearance, like a "story". In the end they decided against it because Tatianas outfits that she wore in the photos Wolf189 submitted to Kurv. were not high fashion enough. Kurv. likes to display high end fashion like Chanel, Gucci etc. Tatiana has nice clothes but hello, she is not exactly the Princess of Brunei (yet) and does not own any Chanel outfits.
Tatiana thinks that Kurv. should rethink this decision and give Tatiana her pages and her "story" like they were going to in the first place. If they want Tatiana clad in La Perla and Gucci, they can arrange for that. Tatiana thinks she is way cuter and way more fun than the other models in the magazine and she knows that she and Wolf189 can create many great images.

Tatiana has not been feeling well since Tuesday now. She thinks it is something she ate. She feels weak, a little dizzy and has a headache and stomachache. It is no fun. It is beautiful outside and she does not like to be sick when it is so pretty outside. Also she is missing work. She is hoping to be fully recovered by tomorrow, or at least to the point so she can go to work.....

Tatiana misses her friends in Vegas. She feels isolated and lonely in Alaska. I's not the same.

Tatiana likes to hang out and do things with people, she has no one to do things with here. Only once in a while. Or maybe they just don't want to hang out with Tatiana?
At least she has Chhaya. That's a real friend. They are going for a walk now.
